About this mod Machine translation
Knave's Requiem is a compilation of mods that make gameplay adjustments to Requiem (currently supported: Requiem 3.4) or integrate mods not covered by Skyrim SSE's official Requiem Patch Central.
Requiem for the Knave is my ongoing project to eliminate all the other little things that annoy me about what would otherwise be a great game mode Requiem-The Roleplaying overhaul.
Requiem for SSE has yet to be officially released, although the developer has announced its roadmap. However, many people, including myself, have played self-ported versions of the mod on SSE. Resources to assist with the Requiem porting process can be easily found externally. I think you can handle this part yourself; I won't provide any support. The only thing I ask is that if you do this or use any of my patches, you don't have the Requiem team with technical issues running their mod on this not-yet-supported platform.
The basic patch is Requiem for Knave.esp.
This only requires Requiem.esp (and its requirements, including USSEP).
Some of my other patches also require the base patch, while others are available as standalone Requiem patches. This will be specified in the description below. The patch should function as a "full" Requiem patch (i.e., no other Requiem patch for the applicable module is required). I imagine many of these features will become redundant once Requiem and its Patch Central hub are officially released on SSE. In the meantime, I'll leave them here for anyone playing the self-ported SSE Requiem.
This patch edit has been inspired by many other Requiem overhauls over the years: Minor Arcana, Behind the Scenes, LS Revamps, AZ Tweaks, and most recently 3Tweaks. All of these mods contain a lot of great ideas, but either haven't been updated to work with more modern versions of the basic Requiem mod, or contain a lot of other changes that I personally wouldn't be interested in for my own Requiem game.
death knell
This is a compilation of (mostly) minor gameplay changes I made to make the Requiem experience less jarring and more consistent. Full disclaimer: In many ways, this makes Requiem easier. This is not a "challenge" or "balance" mod for power gamers or minimal extreme players. This is not an attempt to fundamentally change the playing style or progression of the Requiem.

The following fixes are also available in optional files.
Requiem for a Wife-Hunterborn
Requires: Hunterborn.esp, Requiem.esp, Requiem for Knave.esp
Hunterbourne's consistency patch (with Hunterbourne MCM plugin - may still work without an edited version of this esp, I haven't tested it yet): Adjust foods and recipes to match my system. Disabled many redundant recipes. Allows more powerful versions of Spider-Man and Superman Venom to be brewed in the pot. The spider poison paralysis effect that was removed from the "Level 1" (now "Faint", according to Requiem's potion/poison naming system) version now only appears on levels 3 ("Good") and 4 ("Notable"). Brewing level 2 poisons requires the first perk in alchemy, and brewing level 3 and 4 poisons requires the "Improved Poison" perk. Beast stew and alchemy perks that require animal parts will look for Hunterborn versions of these items. Using these level lists, "mundane" Hunterborn ingredients (wolf's claws, bear's teeth, etc.) will appear in the apothecary and elsewhere. Should serve as a "complete" Requiem-Hunterborn patch.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED: Remake soup-Skyrim LE with quilb (or the FOMOD installer version here), but will work on SE as-is. This patch uses many textures from the "moder resource" pack, so your herb soups and stews may look bland in comparison! By extension, SMIM is also a soft requirement. If not installed, the texture may not align properly on the grid.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
