About this mod Machine translation
Adds a spell that allows you to access your home chest remotely, but only while fast traveling while maintaining balance. Requires SKSE.. German translation file.
Overview
Want to play a game without fast travel but still manage it normally? You just feel like skipping 4 extra loading screens after each dungeon? This mod adds a pair of apprentice-level Alteration spells (with a spell version) to select and open chests. While looking at the chest select "Remote Chest" to select for remote access and turn on "Remote Chest" to open it remotely.
To keep things balanced, there are 2 limitations: you can only choose chests you own (you can't use it to steal without getting caught), and you can only open your chest if you can fast travel (i.e. outdoors with no enemies nearby) or in a home location.
This spelled version is available for purchase by anyone selling the Apprentice Alteration spell. If you want it immediately you can get it using player.placeatme XX004335, where XX is the loading order of the plugin (you can find it by searching help ZRC, it's the first 2 digits of the only results)
Install
SKSE is required. Your favorite mod manager, or unzip to Skytim Special Edition\Data\
uninstall
Mod Management/Delete RemoteChest.esp and RemoteChest.bsa from Data\.
Uninstalling this mod from an existing save game, like any containing script, is inherently dangerous and unsupported, although there are tools to clean your save
compatibility
The only existing record edited by the mod is the Apprentice Alteration spell version list (which allows for purchase from merchants). If you have another mod that edits these, it will overwrite the other one unless you use a tool like Wrye Bash or Mator Smash.

Overview
Want to play without fast travel but still manage your inventory normally? Just feel like skipping 4 extra loading screens after every dungeon? This mod adds a pair of Apprentice-level Alteration spells (with a single spell tome) to select and open a chest. Cast "Select Remote Chest" while looking at a chest to select it for remote access, and "Open Remote Chest" to open it remotely.
To preserve balance, there are 2 restrictions: You can only select a chest you own (you can't use it to steal without getting caught), and you can only open your chest if fast travel is possible (i.e. outdoors with no enemies nearby) or in a home location.
The spell tome is available for purchase from anyone selling apprentice alteration spells. If you want it immediately you can obtain it with player.placeatme XX004335 where XX is the plugin's load order (can find it by searching help ZRC, it's the first 2 digits of the only result)

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
