On the rocks in Blackreach that I inspected from another one, I noticed that the crystals there didn't look that good. I decided to try making changes to make them more crystal-like, and I noticed that the textures they were using were actually from other objects. So I made a lot of changes to the meshes and textures related to the Azura crystals and the Blackreach crystals in an attempt to make them both look better and maybe more unique. I tried to preserve the external light on the Azura crystal to give the Blackreach crystal a better glow at both close and far distances. ——————————————————————————————————————————
While checking the rocks in Blackreach from another I mod I noticed the crystals there did not look very good. I decided to try to change that and make them more crystal like, and while doing so I noticed the texture they used was actually from something else. So I changed a lot about the meshes and textures related to both the Azura Crystals and the Blackreach Crystals to hopefully make them both look better and maybe a little more unique. I tried to retain the light outer glow on the Azura Crystals and make the Blackreach Crystals have a better glow, both up close and at a distance.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
