There don't seem to be many people retexturing these, so I tried to give it a try. It covers the metal cage as well as the smaller cage seen in Helgen at the beginning of the game. I also replaced the texture used for the SMIM Royal Prison to add more detail. Since I added environment mapping to the cage to get a dull sheen, some meshes are included in the download and I think it looks a little better.

It didn't seem like a lot of people had re-textured these so I tried to take a stab at it. This covers the metal prisoner cages and also the smaller cages you see right at the beginning of the game in Helgen. I also replaced the texture used for SMIM's imperial jails to add a little more detail. Some meshes are included in the download due to me adding environment mapping to the cages for a dull shine, which I think looks a little bit better.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
