About this mod Machine translation
Remade oldrim SKSE plugin "Rescaled Bulletproof Level" using the exact same algorithm.
=================
Underthesky modified the Orginal Armor Rating Remoded mod, remade it using the same formula and compiled against the latest address base so it is version agnostic. (>1.5.39)
=================
This plugin uses the exact same algorithm, here is the original description of the mod:
Spoilers: Show
This is a confusing setup diagram.
=================
Changes apply to players and NPCs, and are done in the game code using SKSE. This mod has no esp file and can be installed (cancelled) at any time.
=================
Configuration:
"ArmorScalingFactor": 1.0, uses the previous vanilla damage resistance multiplier in the calculation.
"DisableHiddenArmorRating": No, set to true to disable hidden armor rating. (recommended)
"OverrideArmorCap": 0, sets the maximum damage resistance coefficient. A value of 100 equals no upper limit. When set to 0, the game setting fMaxArmorRating will be used.
=================
Notice:
If you want more choice in formula or Papyrus implementation, you should check out Armor Rating Redux SE.
This remake is mainly aimed at those who want the original formula and address library implementation.
=================
Installation method
Install using Mod Organizer 2 or Vortex, or download manually and install using the tools above.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
