Reading Ragdoll Paralysis
TL;DR Being hit with paralysis makes you feel like a ragdoll.
This mod was originally created by silverfish, but he hasn't been active in years and I really want an update.
Special thanks to CptMcSplody for converting this into a special edition.
[Changes/Fixes]
- Remove the change of the special paralysis spell used by Kematu.
Using ONCE to make changes using special things only by task usually means it is really needed and may cause problems if edited. Restoration.
- Prevent forcing a permanent third person when paralyzed.
Especially when eating Netch Jelly or being generally paralyzed. Some users never experience this, but I've added some precautions. Better safe than sorry.
- Prevent the enemy from being paralyzed when doing Kill-cam.
The main reason why I do this. I was angry because they were paralyzed and suddenly the enemy survived.
(This is actually a vanilla bug fixed by using a script to handle the paralysis effect. The Bullseye perk is fixed using this mod. Compatibility unknown)
- Change resistance
Poison resists paralyzing poison, while magic resistance resists paralyzing magic/spells. This makes sense.
[Install]
- Unzip the Data folder or use Mod Manager.
- Use Tes5Edit to check for conflicts. Just make sure the script exists, Archetype is Script, and Actor Value is None.
Play as usual, but with ragdolls.
[uninstall]
- Make sure no one is paralyzed. This script is only active during paralysis.
- Delete Paralyze.esp and RagdollParalysis.pex, or use Mod Manager.
- Play as usual, but without the doll.
[reason]
About time to fix a nice mod.
[integral]

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
