This mod changes the gold you get for quest bounties and many quest rewards, as well as the bounty you pay for crimes. This also reduces the value of items you can take from your friend's home.

describe
This mod attempts to make bounties and rewards more reasonable, since getting 1200 gold for sending a letter to a poor and starving miner is ridiculous when you can use it to pay the fine for murdering said miner and still have money.
Free stuff at a friend’s house
It's normal for you to be good friends with someone and then for them to let you borrow something that's theirs or help you get something to eat, but you can at least be decent to a random farmer (by selling his own crops!) and go ahead and accept to get pretty much everything he owns for free. One thing this mod does is significantly reduce the value of the stuff you can freely get from your friends:
Friends: 25->5
Confidant: 50->10
Allies: 100->20
Lover: 500->100
Life in Skyrim is hard, and you can't just take other people's stuff and make everything okay for them.
mission bounty
100 gold coins to clear out a bandit fort that has been raiding caravans, harassing residents, and generally robbing and killing innocent civilians? Are you kidding me? You can fight obnoxious suckers like Nazeem and get a 40 gold bounty! The bounty from jars is now higher, depending on the situation. The rewards are not up to par, because why would they? Your bounty isn't average, and Jarl appeals to "all able-bodied" people, not Dragonborn. The world doesn't revolve around you.
Robber: 100->1000
Giant: 100->2000
Oath: 100->1500
Dragon: 500->5000
(Preference) Mission rewards
This is where most of the problems lie. Doing a simple extraction mission later in the game will reward you with all the lives of your entire village. Well, no more. Rewards are still level (people appreciate how important you are), but the difference between the lowest and highest levels in the reward levels is much smaller, and many missions take their reward funds from a more accurate list (see the readme for the changed reward levels).
Wow Reward (that's what it's actually called)
Level 1-9: 750->1500
Level 10-19: 1000->1600
Level 20-29: 1250->1700
Level 30-39: 1500->1800
Level 40 and above: 1800->1900 (level 40-49)
New level 50 and above: 2000
It is used for very few important tasks.
Generous rewards
Level 1-9: 500->1000
Level 10-19: 750->1100
Level 20-29: 1000->1200
Level 30-39: 1250->1300
Level 40 and above: 1500->1400 (level 40-49)
Added 50+ levels: 1500
Some quests given by townsfolk using this list have been "downgraded", and some quests that seemed important enough (and given by wealthy enough people) now use this list.
medium reward
Level 1-9: 400->500
Level 10-19: 600->600
Level 20-29: 800->700
Level 30-39: 1000->800
Level 40 and above: 1200->900 (level 40-49)
Added for level 50 and above: 1000
Added mid-level at the 5th mark (with mid-level rewards, e.g. levels 5-9: 450 gold coins)
This is primarily used for civilian tasks of a certain degree of difficulty, such as clearing enemy mines.
Small and medium rewards (new level)
Level 1-9: 250
Level 10-19: 300
Level 20-29: 350
Level 30-39: 400
Level 40-49: 450
Level 50 and above: 500
This new tier is primarily intended for quests that previously had a "small" reward, but are more than simple fetch quests. When I drastically reduced the amount of gold I got from small rewards, I had to create a new tier for tasks that were less important/difficult to get mid-level rewards, but not worth the rewards.
small reward
Level 1-9: 250->50
Level 10-19: 400->60
Level 20-29: 500->70
Level 30-39: 600->80
Level 40 and above: 750->90 (level 40-49)
Added 50+ levels: 100
Added mid-level at the 5th mark (with mid-level rewards, e.g. levels 5-9: 45 gold)
Those quests that make you become a messenger or delivery boy to a random villager use this command.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
