Real Storm - Wet Cold Compatibility
This is just a small, very lightweight plugin that integrates True Storms weather into Wet & Cold's systems, primarily within Solstheim. While creating my other patches for True Storms I realized that there are some direct incompatibilities between True Storms and Wet & Cold, these are not mentioned anywhere, so this is just a small standalone patch to correct these issues. Of course, these aren't huge breaking issues that cause any CTD, but they will cause you to lose some functionality of some mods when running both. So here you go :) Both mods will now compliment rather than overwrite each other.
Overview
- Wet & Cold and True Storms have added their own unique Ashes weather to the Solstheim region, which previously overridden each other based on how they were loaded in the load order. All unique dust weather and two-mode effects are now available in all weather areas in Solstheim.
-True Storms unique sandstorms are now registered in Wet & Cold's system, so you can now see Wet & Cold's unique effects during these special weather periods.
- Includes all necessary options for any True Storms weather patch combination. Be sure to read the instructions in the installer so you know what instructions are required.
- Also included is an optional standalone add-on including Water's Edge Fix for adding to all of Solstheim's unique Wet & Cold weather. If you have experienced blocky water edge in Solstheim before, even with the main Water Edge fix plugin loaded, this is the most likely cause. **Please note that this add-on only works with Wet & Cold. If you also want to apply Water's Edge Fix to True Storms weather, you'll also need to download the True Storms version of the main Water Edge Fix plugin.
Install and load orders
This patch requires Wet and Cold and True Storms to be loaded, although the order in which they are loaded does not matter as long as this patch is loaded after both.
**Keep in mind that the requirements will change depending on which Weather Overhaul and True Storms and Wet & Cold you are using, so be sure to read the instructions included with the installer to make sure you have the correct installation instructions :)
compatibility
-Minty's Lightning - Minty's Lightning is fully compatible with all related patches, feel free to use them.
**The only other things that may conflict with this patch are other weather related modes, any edits to Solstheim's zone data, or the addition of new cold/gray weather for Wet & Cold to interact with. As far as I know, there are no other weather-related modes other than other weather overhauls that should affect the changes made here.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
