This mod is based on appearance, providing new more realistic attributes for the Defender, Stormcloak and Imperial Trooper armor.

Have you ever wondered why Skyrim's soldiers are so poorly armored? I have it which makes no sense when the bandits are better equipped than the guards, imperial soldiers and even the storm rebels who control half of the province (and collect taxes from the province). It's also strange when leather armor is more expensive and offers better protection than short chainmail and gambeson (Stormcloak uniforms). This small mod solves this problem by giving armor additional appearance-based properties.

Imperial Light, Inlay, Penitus Oculatus' armor is slightly stronger.

Imperial Heavy Armor is the same as Steel Armor.

Stormcloak/Defender armor is as strong as leather armor, but heavier.

Stormtrooper's armor is now as powerful as Scalemail.

True Soldiers - Guards, Stormcloak and Imperial Legion Armors Fix

Have you ever wondered why soldiers in Skyrim have so poor armor? I had. It doesn't make sense when bandits are equipped better than hold guards, Imperial soldiers or even Stormcloak rebels, who control (and gather taxes from) half of the province. It's also weird when leather armor is more expensive and gives better protection than short chainmail and gambeson (Stormcloak uniform). This small mod solves this issue by giving armor other stats which are based on their appearance.

Changes:

Imperial light, studded, Penitus Oculatus armor a little stronger.

Imperial heavy armor same as steel armor.

Stormcloak/guard armor is as strong as leather armor but a little heavier.

Stormcloak Officer Armor is now as strong as Scaled Armor.
