Add new fruits for real needs and diseases
This mod adds new types of fruits for realistic needs and diseases. They are divided into three categories…
Types of fruits
local fruits
These grow in Skyrim and cost the same as apples you already find in the game (3 gold coins).
Grape
pear
strawberry
imported fruits
These are imported from Cyrodiil and other nearby provinces. They are a bit more expensive than the locals
Fruit (4 gold* each).
cherry
Grapefruit
orange
peach
Plum
exotic fruits
These are imported from Elsweyr and other distant provinces, and are the most expensive (5 gold* per copy).
banana
kiwi fruit
mango
melon
papaya
Pineapple
watermelon
*Grapefruit, melon, papaya, pineapple and watermelon come in more than one serving. Once the fruit is eaten, the remaining portion will be added to your inventory.
Availability
New fruits can be found at the following suppliers...
Tavern
Skyline Bistro doesn't really care about fancy foreign food, so they only have the opportunity to stock local fruit. Any other vendors using the 'LItemFoodInnCommon' level listing will also have the opportunity to sell local fruit.
Marise Arivel(Riften)
Marise has a fairly small business in a relatively poor city, so she can't afford more expensive exotic fruits. However, she does have an abundance of local fruit and a small amount of imported fruit
Carlotta Valentia(Whiterun)
Whiterun is a central trading center, so Carlotta has access to large quantities of local and imported fruit. She also sells a small selection of exotic fruits
Jarrah (solitude)
Solitude is a wealthy city with a lot of trade, so Jala is well supplied with local, imported and exotic fruits for sale.
Khajiit Caravans
Khajiit caravans have connections in remote provinces and specialize in supplying large quantities of exotic fruits.
Require
This mod requires 'Realistic Needs and Diseases' and the 'Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch'.
compatibility
This mod edits the 'LItemFoodInnCommon' level list, and edits the following vendor's chests...
'MerchantCaravanAChest'
'MerchantCaravanBChest'
'MerchantCaravanCChest'
'MerchantRiftenGrandPlazaMariseChest'
'MerchantSolitudeFruitJala'
'MerchantWhiterunCarlottaChest'

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
