This is a near perfect port of the original GDO Mod! The only changes are:
Renumber the format number to 44.
Removed WICastMagic03 [QUST:000167D3] as it has been officially fixed irrelevant.
Repackage the BSA file.
Copy the survival keyword.
Check USSEP v4.1.7.
This makes it as close to the exact port of GDO as you can get for SSE.

GDO fixed all Skyrim Guards dialogue bugs and did a lot of other things.
GDO has changed the impact Skyrim Guard dialogue has on your mood in the game. Rather than annoy you, guards will enhance your experience of the game and increase your immersion in the world of Skyrim by correctly recognizing your actions rather than making disrespectful comments about characters they should respect.
GDO will not remove any comments from the guard's vocabulary; they will still be rude and laugh at you as usual at the start of the game. However, once your character completes the task of gaining the respect of the guards, their attitudes will begin to change for the better, and once your character is a legend of Skyrim, they will respect, appreciate, and sometimes even get nervous in your presence.
Due to the game's overly strict conditions, GDO unlocks a lot of defensive dialogue that is never or rarely used. This isn't a bug, but a design choice made by Bethesda developers that I don't agree with. This means that before GDO, the guards will talk a lot more than you will be used to. Many people have never heard some comments before, others will only hear them infrequently in limited circumstances.
Once you're respected, GDO will add dialogue options for your character to yell or drop weapons if the guard reprimands you.
GDO prevents guards from getting stuck in a loop where they just say "What is it?"
GDO now provides some but not all guard commentary for some other NPCs with the same voice. This can only be done with comments that can reasonably be considered non-guard-specific, and do not interfere with normal NPC dialogue at all, so there is no potential for conflict as a result of their addition.
If you wish to disable this feature so that all Guard dialogue is spoken only by Guards, use the Console command:
Set GDOExtraNPCs to 0
Once disabled, this feature will remain disabled for that role. Any new game will start with this feature enabled.
GDO sets the required skill level and then the guard comments your skill at 50. This is considered adept in the game and seems appropriate. This value can be customized using the in-game console if desired.
GDO maintains skill level thresholds in 3 variables, each corresponding to a specific skill category. They are:
GDOSkillCombat
GDOSkillMagic
GDOSkillStealth
The default value for each is 50. If you wish to change the required skill level before the guard comments, simply change the value of the corresponding variable; they do not need to be set to the same value. When using the following console commands, ignore the quotes, they are only used to indicate the common field names in the syntax.
To check the current value, use the GetGlobalValue command:
Syntax: GetGlobalValue'variable'
A "variable" is one of the 3 above. For example. GetGlobalValue GDOSkillCombat
To set a new value, use the Set command:
Syntax: set 'variable' to 'value'
"Variable" is one of the 3 above and "Value" is the skill level you want to set. For example. Set GDOSkillStealth to 63
Once set, this value will be saved in your save game and will not cha …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
