About this mod Machine translation
This mod provides new AI (artificial intelligence) for animals and predators.
Introduction:
This MOD provides new AI (artificial intelligence) for animals and predators, mainly while overhauling the behavior of the original Skyrim animals to be more realistic.
Keep the original design of the animals and stay Lore friendly. The mod isn't entirely focused on adding more variety to the animals, it's not limited to changing the AI, it also includes these things:
Adjusted the attributes of animals to make them more threatening
The animal food chain is 100% complete.
Mammoths, saber-toothed tigers, bears, and mire crabs have a chance to knock down the player. Just like in real life big animals will attack you to death so be careful
Animals never fight to the death and will run away once they feel they are overwhelmed.
All animals are now afraid of fire and they will run away for a while but then try to come back after a few seconds.
Some animals will be frightened by torches and run away, except for some animals that have no impression of torches.
Carnivores can boost their confidence as long as they have a large number of members. On the contrary, they will be demoralized. If they lose too many members, they may run away. Lions and wolves behave this way in real life.
Lone wolves will linger around the player, but may attack you if another wolf joins them nearby.
Wolves will never retreat unless their numbers decline significantly, at which point the pack will disband and attempt to escape individually.
A single sabertooth tiger will never fight unless its health drops significantly, but a pack will still be confident
If you scare PERK, some animals may be frightened and run away, others may not care...
Animals are frightened by dangerous monsters such as dragons, giants, trolls, werewolves, undead and demons
New breeding points are added to the entire skyrim, bringing more life interest to skyrim
Most animals manage to find a mate within their species every year
Bears hibernate in winter
Animals search for water every day near lakes, ponds and rivers
Carnivores hunt 2-3 times a day, and if you happen to kill a carnivore and find some kind of meat in their inventory, there's a good chance the predator had a successful hunt before it died.
Herbivores search for plants several times a day
Animals all have unique personalities, some will be scared when you get close, and some will give you a warning before attacking or running away. In original Skyrim animals will attack you when they see you...
So I gave all predators 3 different radii, each producing a different reaction:
2000 (approximately 60mt) They notice everything you do until you leave this radius.
1000 (about 30mt) you get a little too close and they will start giving you warnings and if you don't back off, attack you after about 6-8 seconds.
800 (about 2mt) You are too close, attack immediately
Baby animals follow their parents, you can meet baby mammoths following their mammoth parents, female tuskers followed by their own cubs... such as fawns and calves, and maybe even bear cubs.
Most animals speed is increased like deer, elk, bear, wolf, saber tooth tiger etc.
Animals have increased/decreased acceleration, e.g. heavy animals are slower and agile animals are faster
Critters have been added to Skyrim and you can encounter spiders, cockroaches, rats and even crabs as prey for small predators.
Better faction animals, predators now attack each other
More variations for farm and wildlife
100% compatible with all DLC

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
