About this mod Machine translation
Reading list from Oldrim to SSE by Xander9009. A simple mode for keeping track of the books you've read.
This is Xander9009's reading list port from original Skyrim to SSE. All credits go to him for design, scripting and implementation. Many thanks for allowing an open license to port it. The original mod can be found here:

All .esps are saved in the Creation Kit as 44. This is a direct port of the mod and is provided as-is. Currently it supports the main game and all DLC. This mod does require the latest version of SKSE64 (2.0.7) to run. It also requires SkyUI. I know some players may not like this, but it's the original mode of the design. Xander9009 also included Adolon's Books Books files, and I posted a message on that page stating that the original files are compatible with the SE version of that release. I'm still waiting for a reply. If it's compatible, then I'll be more than happy to convert it to 44 format and upload it as an optional file, so players using the mod can combine it with this.
Require:
SkyUI
SKSE64(v 2.0.7)
Please be sure to read the instructions below provided by Xand9009 on the Oldrim page explaining how the mod works so there is no confusion.
Remember the golden rule of installing mods with MCM menu plugins. Xander9009 recommends waiting about 30 seconds for it to show up. He reiterates this in the description below.
I've uploaded a merged .esp for all the files and included in the main files section for those that don't have a lot of space in the load order.
Here's the description from the original Skyrim page:

- So, what is it?
- This is a mod that gives you access to the new MCM. Select a category to see a list of all known books in that category, and if
You've read it. (This list is complete except for Detected Books. Great for checking out books you haven't found yet.) Categories include:

General I-S.
General T-Z.

Test book 3
With the patch, the following pages will be automatically activated:

Series is the only category that overlaps with other categories. All books in the series can be found in the general list or in skill books.
Books added by other mods will appear in the "Detected Books" category. You don't need to read the book to detect it. You just need to be in the same cell or put it in your inventory. Books are detected at approximately 2 times per second. Fast enough for most situations. If the menu is completely filled (MCM pages are limited to 128 items), another page will appear to continue the list. If a third page is also filled out, the third page will appear.
- What functions does it have?
- There are not many functions that this simple ~ mod can have, but they are more or less there:
Automatic - The mod is fully automated. You just open the menu and it tells you if you've read the books.
Manual - If automatic doesn't suit you, you can disable it, allowing you to manually check and uncheck items. Please note that automatic and manual modes are independent of each other. If you check books manually, you can safely check automatically, see the books the mod knows you've read, and then switch back without losing manual checking.
Detection List - Any books you come acros …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
