About this mod Machine translation

This is a port of the MOD "REACH TREE REPLACEMENT" originally made by kojak 747 for ancient Skyrim. Thank you very much for this great mod and allowing porting to SSE!

I ran the mesh with the NIF optimizer and resaved the .esp via CK to the correct Forid 44.

This model replaces existing fruit trees with leafy reach trees. This means that the bare branches in and around the Markarth Reach are now covered in leaves and look much better. This also means that the trees in Motar Swamp now have leaves on them and look fuller and more vibrant. I also re-textured one of the fruity vanilla trees to add variety.

Install

Via the MOD manager or placing the file into the data folder. Loading order is not important.

uninstall

This MOD does not contain any scripts. It is safe to uninstall at any stage. Just delete or disable the file.

Note

If you wish to update the LOD, optional billboard files are available for use with DynDoLod.

This mod replaces the fruity REACH tree with a leafy REACH tree, except for ReachTree02.nif, which I re-divided from vanilla due to "moss issues"

I intentionally did not include the updated treeLOD file (TamrielTreeLod.dds) because there are optional Billboard files available for DynDoLod.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
