Skyrim Scavenger Hunt
This mod will take you on an adventure to collect weapons and armor. The items you find will be more powerful versions of the vanilla weapons in the game.
To maintain compatibility with other mods and textures, all of these items are visually identical to regular items in the game's inventory, but are more powerful.
Starting at Riverwood, you'll find a note pinned to the door. Reading the note will unlock the note outside of Whiterun, which can be found near the Horse Trader's parked carriage. This annotation will give you the approximate location of all annotations that can be found.
Reading this note will unlock notes that can be found in approximately 38 different locations. When you find these notes and read them, you gain access to the container containing your treasure. You may have to search the nearby area before you can actually find the cache. Items in the cache are randomly assigned, (usually) you get 1 piece of armor and 1 weapon as well as some food and potions. These caches are regenerated, so you may find more information useful the next time you visit.
