Make Rayek's End SSE a home available for purchase.
- = Requires End of Rayek - Rayek's SSE extension v1.7 = -
I made this patch for Rayek's End house mod for SSE, for those like me who like to buy them with their hard-earned Septims
real estate.
describe:
Due to an extended vacancy, Whiterun Jarl of Whiterun Jarl took possession of the property known as Rayek's End and gave responsibility for managing the property for sale to Sabjorn of Honningbrew Meadery. The price of the house key is set at 2000 gold, but varies depending on your speaking skills (since the key is sold as a misc item) and can be over 6000 gold if your speaking voice is low. I think most people think of Rayek's End as a starter home, so I've made it relatively cheap, but if you think it should be adjusted, please let me know.
I had placed a forfeiture notice on the front door detailing that the house had been seized and Sabjorn was handling the purchase at Honningbrew. Even if something happens to Sabjorn... Mallus Maccius will be responsible for handling it. Regarding lighting, I chose the default Dark version of the mod and am unlikely to tinker with other versions.
I also added a HARD version that locks the door to the master bedroom suite with a second key set to 2000 gold (depending on the voice). However, the front door key is reduced to 1000 gold, making it easier for early characters to access the main area for crafting and storage. In this version, I added a switchable sheet to the bookcase to allow you to sleep in while the master suite is locked. I've also seriously nerfed Rayek's Blade to make it more of a low-to-medium damage weapon, more suitable for the early game.
compatibility:
Same conflicts that the original mod may have. May also conflict with any mod that edits the Sabjorn (ID: 0002BA8C) or Mallus Maccius (ID: 0002BA8E) npc.
Install:
These are for the replacer esp, so just overwrite "Rayeks_End_SSE_1.0.esp" with my version. Also install the Scripts folder containing DarkFox script files. Place them in the Data folder or use your mod manager like any other mod.
integral:
Thanks to Rayek for his great work on Rayek's End mod, and for granting permission to release this patch.
This mod uses the PM_Script_BuyKey script from DarkFox127's Project Modularity resources. Want to make your favorite home available for purchase? Follow his guide! :=Xv2QRUR2Peo

I made this patch for the ravishing Rayek's End house mod for SSE, for those like myself who prefer to use their hard-earned Septims to buy their
real estate.
Description:
The Jarl of Whiterun has seized the property known as Rayek's End due to extended vacancy, and has placed the duty of managing the sale of the property to Sabjorn at the Honningbrew Meadery. The price of the house key is set at 2000 gold, but varies depending on your Speech skills (due to the fact that the key is sold as a misc item) and can be over 6000 gold if you have low Speech. I think most people consider Rayek's End a starter home so I made the price relatively cheap, but let me know if you think it's should be adjusted.
I've placed a Notice of Forfeiture on the front door, detailing that the house has been seized and Sabjorn is handling its purchase at Honningbrew. In the even that something happens to Sabjorn...Mallus Maccius will handle the sale at the meadery. Regarding lighting, I've chosen the default Dark version of the mod and won't likely patch the other versions.
I've also added a HARD version, which locks the door to the main bedroom suite with a second key that is set at a variable 2000 gold (depending on Speech). However, the front door key is lowered to 1000 gold, making the main area more accessible to early characters to use for crafting and storage. In this version I've added a toggle-able bedroll by the bookcases, giving you somewhere to sleep with the mai …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
