About this mod Machine translation
Turn the walls of Skyrim over and make every game unique.
Exploration is a big part of Skyrim, but after a dozen playthroughs, I know which dungeon has which word. This bothered me so I decided to do something about it.
This mod changes the Words of Power around Skyrim, meaning you can learn Storm Call instead of Being Ethereal when retrieving Jurgen Windcaller's Horn.
Walls not included are:
- Ridiculous Barrow's unrelenting power as it breaks related quests.
- Throw the wall because it is a three-in-one wall.
-DLC wall due to script issues.
How this works:
When you start the game, you gain a power called Randomize Word Walls. When you cast it, the randomization process begins.
Things to remember before casting a spell:
- Make sure you are in a safe place. You should more or less go AFK while working on the script, so you don't want the fight to start. The script takes about a minute to complete.
- The best place to start the script during a Helgen attack or after killing a bear in the starting unit of any alternate startup mode.
- You should run it in a new save with as few other mods installed as possible. Once the script is complete, you can install more mods.
- Make sure you are not near a word wall.
- Save the game before casting the spell.
- Even if you uninstall the mod, changes made to the game cannot be undone.
When the script completes, it also stops any running scripts and removes the power of Randomize Word Walls, making it fairly "safe" to uninstall, but uninstalling any mod is not recommended.
Install:
- Download using NMM or install manually.
uninstall:
- If you cast a spell, simply remove the mod using NMM, or remove it from the Data folder along with the .BSA package.
- If you are not casting a spell, do this and select the unistall option. Then perform the steps above.
- Keep in mind that uninstalling any mod may cause save instability.
"This sounds interesting, but is there any way to check if the mod works before I start a new game?"
Yes, indeed there is. Please follow the steps below:
- Start the game. In the main menu, open the console and type coc RwwTestCell Do not load the existing save
- Cast a spell.
- Once the script is complete, you will complete the journey of all words
The wall is affected. In Vanilla Skyrim, the first three walls teach you:
Frustration, Ice Shape and Slow Time, in that order.
"Would this undermine Greybeards' mission to help you find the words?"
No.
"Will you add DLC support?"
No, I tried it but I couldn't get it to work.

- The changes done to your playthrough cannot be reversed, even by uninstalling the mod.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
