About this mod Machine translation
Some minor adjustments to random encounters.
This mod was originally created and released on Skyrim by AndreaphusVIII; I've only ported it to SE. The original article can be found here.
This mod changes the following:
- Thalmor vs Player (Three Thalmor hunt you with execution orders and try to kill you.)
->Changed condition from "Player Level 8" to "Diplomatic Immunity Completed".
This is done for Thalmor/non-Dragonborn games.
- Farmer refugees after dragon attack (The farmer and his wife are either walking on the road or resting in a hotel after their farm was destroyed by the dragon)
->Changed from "Player Level 4" to "Complete Dragon Ascension".
This works for non-Dragonborn games.
- Thief Lock (A thief trying to pick a locked door is spotted by a guard. The guard will attack him and try to kill him. Sometimes he may escape to a house/shop.)
-> Remove condition "Opportunity placement completed".
Thieves can be seen even when not playing the Thieves Guild quest.
- Skooma Dealer (A skooma dealer (named after their race) tries to sell you a skooma)
->Give him/her a chance to generate 1 or 2 shivs.
This is done to make it more challenging.
For a list of all random encounters, see here.

This mod was originally created and released on Skyrim by AndrealphusVIII; I have merely ported it to SE. The original can be found here.
This mod changes the following:
- Thalmor vs Player (Three Thalmor with an execution order hunt you down and attempt to kill you.)
-> Changed condition from "Player level 8" to "having completed Diplomatic Immunity".
This is done for Thalmor/non-Dragonborn playthroughs.
- Farmer refugees after Dragon attack (A farmer and his wife either walking along the road, or resting in an inn, after their farm was destroyed by a dragon)
-> Changed condition from "Player level 4" to "having completed Dragon Rising".
This is done for non-Dragonborn playthroughs.
- Thief lock picking (A thief attempting to pick a locked door is discovered by guards. The guards will attack him and try to kill him. Sometimes he may escape into a house/shop.)
-> Removed condition "having completed a Chance Arrangement".
This is done to see thieves even without doing the Thieves' Guild quests.
- Skooma dealer (A skooma dealer (named for their race) attempts to sell you skooma)
-> Give him/her a chance to spawn with 1 or 2 shivs.
This is done to make it a bit more challenging.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
