About this mod Machine translation
Textured replacements for Riekling outposts, including tents, racks, clutter, and Riekling spears
What the 1529/5000 can do:
This mod replaces all Riekling chaos in the game with high resolution textures (4K). It covers tents, including tents, stands, bridges and fences.
Additionally, I added replacements for the Lekling Spear and Short Spear.
It's pita bread to work in these jobs, sorry, honestly
So please note that the vanilla mesh used for these items is really tightened and creates seams everywhere. Textures were applied completely weirdly, meshes had branches cutting through other parts, wrong shaders causing diffuse alpha maps to be used weirdly/incorrectly in places, etc.
I kept some screenshots, for example sometimes the fur would appear black next to normal lighting. Also, the alpha value can cause some clutter to become slightly transparent, or appear black. There was a mod that was supposed to fix vanilla meshes including these, but that didn't work either. However, since the lovely lads' houses have barely been re-textured, I thought I'd give it a go, making it look "good" is indeed tedious.
But hey, better than vanilla :)

What it does:
This mod replaces all Riekling clutter in game with hi-res textures (4K). It covers the tents including the lootable one, the stands, bridges and fences.
Additionally i added replacers for the long and short Riekling spears.
Working on these was a pita, sorry for being honest;)
So please note that the vanilla meshes for these items are really screwed up and cause seams everywhere. Textures get applied completely weird, branches of the mesh clip through other parts, wrong shaders cause weird/inaccurate use of diffused alpha maps in some places and so on.
I kept few screenshots showing that e.g. sometimes a fur appears black next to a properly lit one. Also the alphas cause some clutter to get slightly see-through, or appear pitch black. There´s a mod that is supposed to fix vanilla meshes, including these, but it didn´t work out either. But as the homes of the cute little fellas have barely been retextured, i thought i´d give it a go and it was really tedious, to get it look "okish".
But hey, better than vanilla:)

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
