About this mod Machine translation
Upon request, I reconstructed the glowing mushroom.
What it can do:
This MOD replaces the "glowing mushrooms" in the game with high resolution textures (2K). I know there are machines out there that have better meshes when they are overhauled, but for those using vanilla meshes this might be an option ;)
Install:
- Download using your preferred Mod Manager, install and overwrite when prompted
- Or download it manually, unzip this mod's "Textures" folder and place it in your Skyrim directory
uninstall:
- Disable/uninstall the mod in your manager or delete files from the Skyrim directory
compatibility:
These textures are compatible with vanilla meshes
Settings for screenshots: Thox to Sonja for testing and great screenshots!
*ENB interested
- ELE
*Reappear in Skyrim
*These photos were taken on this occasion without any lanterns or torches so your mushrooms were the only source of light

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
