About this mod Machine translation
The preset character for Ragnar Lothbrok is based on that of a performing Viking (or as close to it as possible).
I created Ragnar Lothbrok for Vikings (or at least as close an approximation as I could get) because I wanted to share it. In the show, he has a bit of blond hair in his hair, which can be easily changed via the match menu if you want it that way. Same with scars or a dirtier complexion. This is basically the basis for your efforts to create a kick-ass character, with only minor changes to suit your tastes. Below is a list of hard requirements, and below that is a list of highly recommended mods to make your character look even better.
Require:
SKSE
Racemenu
Beauty SSE eyes
Eyebrow
Bills
howitzer hair
Not a requirement, but highly recommended to download:
Men's Quenched Skin
Either
Vitruvia – Men’s Skin Texture Overhaul
(I really like both and switch back and forth between them often)
Skin Feature Coverage SSE
(There are some amazing textures like scars and freckles that can be added to your character)
Vanilla Makeup HD
Vanilla Warpaints Absolution
Install:
Click the "Download with Manager" button on the file
Once downloaded it should appear in your mod manager, then double click on it to install it
If using the Mod Organizer, you may have to click on the box in the left pane to activate the mod and show it as a preset in the game.
Manual installation:
Click the manual download button on the file
Extract the download to the data/ folder in your Skyrim installation directory

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
