Provides unique height and body transformations for all races and genders based on knowledge and ability

This is the official version of Racial Body Morphs. I left the old version because it had a lot of different features that I'm sure some people will miss.

(Unfortunately, I don't plan to port to this mod at this time.)

Scroll to the bottom of the page to see the differences between the two versions.

Mod Summary:

This mod is based on lore and previous games, diversifying the heights and proportions (edited using Skeleton nifs using XPMSE skeletons as a base) of all races in the game. The orcs are big and burly, the high elves tower over the other races, and the wood elves are as short as in previous issues.

Long version:

In Skyrim, despite the uniqueness of the 10 races being presented, as well as their historical differences in strength, size, and speed, all of their bodies look exactly the same, and the height differences between them are now smaller. in previous games.

In Oblivion matches there is a weight attribute that scales based on whether they are on orc, elf or anything else, and in Daggerfall certain races have completely different character art (Orcs for example):

To make matters worse, although all share the same body, with no difference in size or proportion, the heads of the races are uniquely broad and powerful on orcs, slender and slender on elves, resulting in ridiculous proportions like this:

(This is not edited, this is an average weight orc)

or this:

What I decided to do was start by simply rescaling the races to make their height differences more apparent.

In the vanilla game, the High Elves stand around 6'4", which is shorter than any other modern ES game, and the shortest race, the Wood Elves, stand around 5'9, almost shorter than the Imperial/Dunmer/Khajiit and much taller than them in Oblivion.

Second, I diversified the genders, making the females slightly shorter than the males.

Finally, and this is the most important part, I changed the proportions so that each race has a unique silhouette and is no longer Imperial, Breton and Nord like impossible to tell apart, nor Wood Elves/Dark Elves. Each game now has a unique height and proportions, fitting the abilities, lore and stats from their previous games.

Variation: From tallest to shortest race:

High Elves: High Elves are traditionally the tallest race in The Elder Scrolls, standing above all other races. Despite this, they were weak, with only Brayton in lower physical condition than them. In Skyrim, they serve as the player's primary antagonists, and my goal was to make them more in tune with their magical roots while making them more noble, strange, and terrifying.

To achieve this, they get a height boost, standing 6 feet 9 inches to 7 feet (a head taller than a royal), with long legs, a slender build and narrower shoulders. Females were given the same treatment but slightly shorter at about 6 and a half feet tall.

Orcs: Orcs are by far the most drastic variation, and anyone who knows anything about orcs and their modern fantasy depictions knows that orcs are big, burly, and strong. The orcs in the game have the most powerful warrior abilities and the most power yet. In previous games they were the toughest games and they were the ones to go to when you wanted to ruin the game. Already the second tallest, Orcs are still shorter than High Elves, but still taller than Norse. Stands around 6'4"-6'5", slightly taller than Vanilla.

The bigger change is to the proportions, rather than the horrible vanilla proportions (see Orc above), they have been scaled to have a more rugged appearance, with a slightly hunched stature, huge shoulders, a large torso, strong legs and arms, and an overall more powerful appearance:

IMO suitable for the best fighter class around.

Nord: Nords aren't as extreme as Orcs and High Elves, but still require some editing. In previous games, Nords were just as tall and as strong as Orcs. Skyrim dictates that t …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
