RaceMenu high heels
-Hub and fixes for RaceMenuHH-
describe:
SKEE64 (for RaceMenu SE) has "convertible" functionality
This provides a simple and easy way to make heels for SSE.
This mod contains some fixes for the system, such as correcting sitting and swimming heights when wearing high heels,
Because when you equip heels that take advantage of the appropriate transformation, the root node (called "NPC" in the skeleton) moves upwards.
All that needs to be done is to assign the correct height to the heels' mesh (*.nif file) by doing a quick edit in Outfit Studio or NifSkope (see guide below).
Advantages of HDT high heels:
- Native solution, no master plugins, scripts or spells that need to be assigned by modders.
-The magic effect is still used, but only for height fixation in sitting/swimming/sitting positions and not the main function of the system.
-Compared with HDT HH, performance is lighter and more stable.
Advantages of LazyHeels:
- The height can be defined directly for the Heel Grid (NIF) without having to assign it to every item in the game.
- More stable native solution.
Compatible with HDT heels as long as the same project is not affected by both. But it is not recommended that you use it.
Not compatible with LazyHeels (seems to clear all node transitions on the root node).
NOTE: There are no actual heels in this mod, it's just the hub of the system.
Apply the effect to high heels:
This is a new method that only works in SE and requires a few fewer editing steps than in LE.
Open the NIF file for the high heels in Outfit Studio.
Double-click any shape in the list on the right side of the Outfit Studio window.
Go to the "Additional Data" tab and add a new "NiFloatExtraData" entry.
Give it the following name in the Name text field: HH_OFFSET
Give it the correct height offset in the value field, for example: 4.25
Export the edited NIF file into Outfit Studio.
If you do not have a BodySlide project for the heels, you must repeat the process for both NIF files (low-weight and high-weight, _0.nif and _1.nif). If they do have a BodySlide project, they only need to make one edit to the NIF file located in the BodySlide's ShapeData folder.
Alternatively, you can make the same edits in NifSkope.
Insert a new "NiFloatExtraData" block into any BSTriShape/NiTriShape block.
Name it "HH_OFFSET" and enter the correct height offset value for the high heels.
Although this is a slightly faster method than what's available in LE, NiOverride-compatible heels will automatically work in SE as well.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
