Added 50 Redguard Alik'r Hoods to Skyrim.
Hello.
I'm tired of looking at Rayya, my housewife, with a dirty frayed cloth on her head. The result of this frustration is this pattern. Now everyone can look Fab-u-lous in the Alik'r Redguard Hood!

This mod adds 50 Redguard Alik'r Hoods. You can purchase it from the Redguard named Shelniah located in Kynareth Temple in Whiterun.
Shelniah only carries 1 copy of each hood for sale. If you want another copy, you'll have to wait 48 game hours for its inventory to refresh. I did this to make it easier for you to quickly get one of each hood by pressing the buy button. I hope this will be the first thing everyone does to test which hood they prefer.

3 different hoods are included in this mod: :: Vanilla Replacer::
The frayed ends on the two hoods used by NPC Redguards now look clean and tidy at the hem. ::Lore Friendly Hoods::
Adds 8 colorful hoods made from existing Skyrim clothing textures. These were the first few hoods I made to maintain immersion. They are made with a fat hem. I renamed these "Alik'r Hood [description]" in the game to differentiate them from the wild fashionable hoods. ::Fashion headscarf::
Adds another 40 hoods to the game. I did this after deciding that immersion is overrated. Fabric choices range from traditional (like polka dots) to modern (like random geometric shapes). I named these "Redguard Hood [description]" in the game to distinguish them from the Lore Friendly Hoods.

Simple NPC clothing manager
As the name suggests, it's an easy-to-use, dialogue-driven method for replacing (or removing) NPC gear. This is the mod I use to change the outfits of the NPCs named in the screenshots.

notes:
==========
All textures are 1024 pixels (1K). That's double the size of vanilla, which is 512 pixels.
If you've never used the Alik'r hood, you should know that when combined with various armors and clothing, there are clips on the neck. You have to test yourself to find out what works and what doesn’t. That's why some of the screenshots have nude photos of men, because the clothes I have on hand are not cut.
I made one hood with silk beads and another with a rope hem as a test. Unfortunately, in the current state of this mod, they look pretty flat. The normal map I made was so bad I put the vanilla one back. I will revisit these two hood textures in the future once I improve my normal map editing skills.
Fashionable hijab fabric patterns come from free photos, fabric and upholstery samples, and even some of my own clothing. I don't want to give the wrong impression of making them from scratch.
If you find a problem or I'm doing something wrong, please let me know. I'm still new to retexturing.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
