This mod aims to make the crossbow a standard part of Skyrim rather than a Dawnguard exclusive weapon. This was accomplished by fully integrating crossbows into every aspect of Skyrim, adhering to all vanilla standards (leveling, balancing, etc...) and removing the Dawnguard traces they were once exclusive to. The new crossbows are spread entirely through leveled lists, and now you'll find them used by Skyirm's denizens and sold by professional archery vendors. (Drunken Huntsman of Whiterun and Fletcher of Lonely Castle)

Added very unique crossbows, designed using vanilla textures (Daedric, Dragonbone, Ebony, Elven, Glass, Iron, Nordic, Orcish and Stalhrim), they designed these crossbows to show the effects of installed custom textures.

If you are using my other mod - Legendary Skyrim Crossbows, you don't need this

feature:

Added 9 new crossbows; Daedric, Dragonbone, Ebony, Elven, Glass, Iron, Nordic, Orcish and Stalhrim.

Added 9 new bolt types; Daedric, Dragonbone, Ebony, Elven, Glass, Iron, Nordic, Orcish and Stalhrim.

Distribute crossbows and crossbows to bandits, Stormcloaks, guards, loot and vendors. This is done to provide the correct ammo for the NPC's bow type.

Added crafting recipes for all new crossbows and bolts based on perks.

Stalhrim Crossbows and Bolts require you to complete "New Sources of Stalhrim", just like standard Stalhrim items.

Changed Dawnguard's "Crossbow" to be called "Steel Crossbow".

Changed all crossbows (including steel and dwarven) so that they can be crafted in any forge, this includes bolts. Once the Ancient Technology mission is completed, it also includes explosive bolts.

Edited the steel and dwarven crossbows provided by Dawnguard to better balance the new crossbows.

All crossbows correspond to bow-shaped crossbows. (25% stronger)

Edited all bolt recipes (excluding explosives) so that they match the arrow recipe: 1 firewood + 1 material ingot = 24 bolts.

Added tempering recipes for all base and enhanced crossbows.

Add recipes to enhance all new bows after completing the Ancient Technology quest. These recipes require you to have a base crossbow in your inventory to prevent confusion in the barbed wire. They have also standardized on requiring mercury for all bows.

Added Explosive Dwarven Arrows, unlocked at the same time as Bolts, with the same crafting recipe.

Disabled the Dwarf Crossbow and Enhanced Dwarf Crossbow sections in the Ancient Technology quest. The first crossbow enhancement phase will now allow all crossbows to be enhanced. Each bolt stage will unlock its own explosive dwarven arrows and bolts.

Disabling Durak limits the crossbow as a Dawnguard unique item.

Changed Sorine's inventory to include all bolts and crossbows (leveled accordingly), as well as enhanced variants after the "Ancient Technology" mission is completed.

Added crossbows and bolts to Whiterun's Drunken Huntsman and Solitude's The Castle Fletcher. (Level accordingly).
