Prince Stag's Glass Bow - Merchant Restoration and More Powerful Blessing

Faras Selvan now always sells the Stag Prince's Glass Bow. Optional stronger blessing (+150 max of all attributes instead of +25 max of all attributes)

If you've ever tried the Stag Prince's glass bow, you know that getting Falas Selvayn to sell you a bow is a struggle.

There are some guides on youtube on how to do this and there's even an entry on the unofficial wiki.

I just wanted him to sell it to me. So I "fixed" him.

I also think that for hunter characters, bows are actually very strong early to mid game, but very weak late game. Therefore, I also expanded the blessings brought by the bow to increase Magicka, stamina and health by 150 points.

How it works:

It's actually a very simple mod. What I would do to "fix" Falas Selvayn is add an ebony sword to his inventory. Because he is marked as preferring melee weapons over ranged weapons, he will spawn with the equipped sword instead of the Stag Prince's glass bow. This way, he can sell bows and arrows without any problem.

As for the blessing, I didn't change its initial strength. Until +25 stats or 80 animals killed, Blessing behaves like vanilla. For every 20 animals killed above this level, the blessing increases further, increasing Magicka, Stamina, and Health by +5, as it does below that point.

That said, to get the full 150 bonus, you'll need to kill 580 animals, which really only comes later in the game unless you decide to grind the animals (which I wouldn't recommend unless you're playing a hunter).

This mod only requires Skyrim and Dragonborn DLC.

As always, I recommend using the unofficial Skyrim Special Edition patch.

Module Manager:

Install the mod using the mod manager of your choice and activate it.

Disable mod uninstallation.

manual:

Download the mod and extract the required esp into the Skyrim SE Data folder.

…\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data

To uninstall this mod, delete all files provided by this mod from the Skyrim SE Data folder.

This mod is obviously incompatible with any mod that directly edits Stag Prince Blessing or Falas Selvayn. Any changes to the actual bow are compatible!

Known issues:

Sometimes Falas Selvayn does carry two Stag Prince bows when you install the mod in a save game after you've visited Solstheim. So far I haven't been able to resolve this issue.
