describe

This is a SE/AE port of roland113's Oldrim mod Predators The Lost Tribe v115D. This is the latest version of the mod, which does not require the original Predators The Lost Tribe mod for SE.

In addition to having the latest updates, the mod also supports CBBE and SOS.

SOS and CBBE are not required! If you want to keep this MOD SFW then just don't install CBBE and SOS. Only install CBBE and SOS if you want this mod to be NSFW!

So what’s in this mod?

This mod adds Yautja and xenos.

Yautja are a playable race. You can choose between a regular Yautja, a Super Predator, and a Badblood Predator.

There is a large amount of Yautja armor and weapons, which can be obtained in different locations (locations can be added to the map by reading books about the Yautja) as well as different locations where you will encounter hostile and friendly predators, predator hounds, and xenos.

Use Predator stealth and heat vision to sneak up on your prey and take them down with one of the many weapons added by the mod, or just blast your enemies with the Plasma Caster!

Decorate yourself with trophies made of skulls and spines and become the ultimate hunter!

Don’t you like being a predator yourself? Don't worry! A large portion of the armor is compatible with the vanilla races, although not everything has been converted to be compatible with them. (So you may end up with the creature masks being invisible or all using the same mesh. This is normal!)

Since this mod supports CBBE, this means that many body warpaints will also work. This could be cool to add tribal traits or some cool looking scars to your Predator. The only parts that wouldn't work well with war paint are the head, feet, and hands. However, adding scars or burn marks to the body makes for some really cool characters!

If you want to add body paint that looks like green blood from the Yautja, I recommend setting the base color of your war paint to black or dark green and the glow color to bright green. This gives me personally the best results.

I noticed that the armor web only appears if your character's weight is set to 1. This isn't a big deal since Predators look best when their body mass is maximized, but if you want a skinnier looking Predator then just know that the armor web won't show up. Trying to figure out why this is happening, hopefully I can fix it!

Better SOS textures for Yautja are coming soon too!

Install

Basic Installation: Simply install the mod like any other mod, run LOOT or load the mod to the bottom of the modlist.

For CBBE: Make sure CBBE is installed and loaded before this mod.

For SOS: Install SOS and Yautja SOS-addon Make sure to install all 3 SOS addons that come with the SOS base installation, they are: Smurf average, VectorPlexus Regular and VectorPlexus Muscular, Yautja SOS-addon mod relies on SOS and the ported V115D mod (this mod), which means the Yautja SOS addon needs to be loaded after the V115D mod. If you have a version of AE, be sure to install the SOS DLL file for AE! If you want the best results, here is a list of requirements (link them into optional files): - XP32 Maximum Skeleton Special Extended - CBBE - HDT-SMP - FNIS - UIExtensions - SkyUI

  • RaceMenu
  • BodySlide - Fuz

Ro D-oh

  • LOOT

future plans

I'd like to add more armor/creature masks and add support for all creature masks worn by humans. There are plans to change some of the visual and stealth features to make them feel better to use.

Some missions and an alternate start for use with the alternate start mode are also on my list of things I want to add.

These are just plans, no promises.

Error/Crash

If you find any crashes or bug …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
