Watch the video I made. Don't be a Skooma addict Skeever and watch a 20 second video and then act like I'm wasting your time. Watch the entire video and leave a comment on the video page to show that you actually watched the video.

Changelog: Changed BSA version of permissive files. Keep SURE Lydia's plug near the bottom of the list to prevent any vanilla from covering it.
See image for an example of my loading order.
Overview:
Remember when you first started learning good ole Vanilla Skyrim? Remember how excited you were after you killed your first dragon and the Dragon and Jarl Ball Grab gave you an enchanted weapon and your own followers? You thought she was hot, man. Admit you had a crush on Lydia, then realize she's about as dumb as a box. You start using the mod and find a variety of very beautiful minions, then look at Lydia with some disgust.
That poor, loyal Nord girl is destined to spend the rest of her days sitting in her bedroom at Breezehome, guarding your Sweetrolls... and that's all about to change!
What this mod does:
Lydia looks probably 100% different now than the character model she did ten years ago.
Her fighting style has been changed to 1H Boss style, and her Confidence has changed from strong to brave. She won't rush into a fight trying to steal all the kills and hinder archery.
This mod still swears to bear your burden.
Her default outfit has been changed to a very attractive peasant outfit, and she no longer hangs around like a man. Her dress is from Spice Gear Minidresses by Tiwa44
Lydia Customizes Tiwa44's Spice Gear Custom Steel Armor
Lydia has a custom skin with tattoos created by myself using regenbot3's devil skin textures
Lydia has Kalilies customized KS hair
Eye Texture and Eyebrow Texture JimtownIrish
What this mod can't do:
This mod does not solve the problem of Lydia (and other followers) standing in the doorway. On Special Edition, if you walk into a minion and draw their weapon, they will teleport behind you
This mod does not change the skin texture or body mesh of any other NPCs
This mod will not return your stolen sweetroll
This mod does not protect you from arrow damage
Install using the Mod Manager of your choice or install manually by unzipping the archive into the Skyrim Data folder
This mod is 100% safe to install on pre-existing saves even if Lydia follows you (tested it myself and found it working)
Future plans for the luxury home series:
I'm currently working on a replacement product for Rayya. This is a picture currently in progress
notes:
Unlike many of my mods lately, the comments section is open.
Don't abuse it.
Make stupid comments about something not working and don't even download the mod
(Will tell the mod author if you actually downloaded the mod btw) I won't receive a personal reply myself.
This will only result in you being banned outright from all my content, your comments being deleted, and you being forgotten.
Don’t abuse the privilege of the comment section.
I will not tolerate abuse of any kind. Done well, we'll get along just fine.

Changelog: Changed out the BSA version …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
