Imperial Post - Postal and banking services
describe:
Imperial Mail adds a decidedly friendly postal service that can be used to send your shipments to Skyrim's inn options. Septims can be deposited or withdrawn from any postmaster's office.
When registering to the Service, you will receive an updateable passbook detailing your personal information, account balance and any outstanding package collections.
Those without a permanent home may also want to rent a safe at Solitude's central office.
Why use this mod?
If you don't use fast travel, it gets boring to keep going back and forth, instead of that, go to the next inn, send your goods, and get back to your exploration!
All innkeepers who use vanilla voice and offer merchant services (including those added by DLC and other modules) offer postal services by default (outside of service packages and access to your savings account)
19 Bistros also offer a collection service identifiable by their Imperial Post Service logo (callable by MCM)
Delivery cost depends on distance and weight of package (configurable by MCM)
The postmaster at the central office can hire you as a courier for express letter delivery services. Every delivery you make will earn you money, and completing a delivery within 24 hours will earn you rewards and get you one step closer
promotion. Note that you can downgrade if you really mess up!
Gold is heavy. This is optional and will not interfere with any other mods that increase coin weight if you don't turn on the coins.
Mod support:
Legacy of Dragonborn SE: Auryen Morellus negotiates a special deal to aid relic hunters, whereby the Imperial Postal Service can deliver packages directly to the museum.
Beyond Skyrim - Bruma SE: Extends Imperial Mail service to Bruma innkeepers, who can collect your goods to send them to Skyrim and give you access to your account.
All Modded Inns require the innkeeper to use the standard innkeeper pie, vanilla and provide merchant services.
compatibility:
This should be compatible with most other mods. Possible issues could be:
Mods that change the appearance of the Vanilla Tavern, as the service logo may not be well positioned. If this is the case with any flags, you can turn them off in the configuration menu or disable them via the console - they are purely cosmetic
Mods that change/use specific areas of the Blue Palace courtyard that are not used in the vanilla game. The central office entrance is on the side under the arch (on your left as you enter the courtyard from the city).

Additional Immersion Information/FAQ (from original description)
Why is it called the "Empire Mail"?
The name and service are a play on Britain's Royal Mail, which was founded in the 15th century as a letter-carrying service and expanded to include savings accounts in the 19th century. When Charles I opened services to the public, the postmaster position was often held by innkeepers, with whom customers could deposit and collect letters.
Tamriel's empire is obviously modeled after the ancient Romans, but their situation is n …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
