About this mod Machine translation

Simpy adds the "Pocket Empire" book series to the game.

This very simple mod adds books from the Pocket Guide to the Empire series to the game. The Pocket Guide comes in three editions - the first and third editions are complete, and the second edition has only one book remaining.

The Third Edition of Books, commissioned by Emperor Uriel Septim VII at the end of the Third Age, is a common item that can be found as random loot or vendor stock, as well as in the game world.

The First Edition, Second Edition and Late Second Edition books were commissioned by Tiber Septin and are rare - copies of each book only exist in the game world. Because they are so long, most come in two rolls. First edition books serve as skill books. For example, in Character Creator Nord there is +10 points for two-handed weapons, so the book on Skryim adds a point two-handed weapon from the first edition, the book on Cyrodiil adds recovery points and a little bit of illusion on the Aldmeri Domionion, etc. The jungle gave a +1 voice. Only the first volume serves as a skill book - the second volume is a normal book.

The revision also adds a volume from the second edition. As The Elder Scrolls Wiki says: "While its canonicity is somewhat disputed, it must be acknowledged in some way." In order not to negate the universe's lore, a note about the questionable quality of this version was introduced into the model.

Where can I find it?

If you have no luck looting books from the third edition, search for the inn! For example, a book about Hammerfell will be running in the Redguard's tavern, while a book about cosmogony is pre-ordered in the Moon and Stars tavern. This principle applies to most situations. Alternatively, you can steal it from the Arcanaeum in the College of Winterhold.

Copies of the first and second editions are not buried in the deepest parts. The logic is similar to version 3. Who would be interested in an old volume of Aldmeri Dominion? Favorite Thalmor Embassy. But if you don't know where to find them or you don't want to find them yourself, check out the diary of Urag gro-Shub in the Arcanaeum (under his table).

compatibility

Modifications should be fully compatible with most mods. The problem may be most of the modifications, which significantly changed the decoration of the inn or Arcanaeum.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
