describe
This mod adds a fully functional photo mode to Skyrim, inspired by later Bethesda games.
feature
Photo mode can be accessed from the suspend/system menu, or via MCM configured hotkeys.
Photos will be saved in the same location as regular screenshots (usually the Skyrim root directory).
Photos may also appear as loading screens (full-screen images or 3D paintings with an oil painting filter applied).
Supports gamepad and keyboard/mouse, automatic input switch is recommended.

Create a custom overlay
The overlay is a PNG file with full screen resolution (1920x1080, 2560x1440, 3840x2160), placed in Data/Interface/Photo Mode/Overlay
These are scaled down to native resolution in-game, so a 4K overlay should fit all 16:9 screens
The folder structure must be followed:
FOLDER_NAME (for category slider)
Overlay_1.png
Overlay_2.png
For example.
Effect
VIGNETTE.png
NOISE.png
Localization and fonts
This mod uses the font Jost and supports Latin and Cyrillic.
You can change the font data used by adding the font file (font.ttf) to /interface/photomode/fonts and editing fonts.ini to use the new font name

PhotoMode view scrolling and Q/E keys for navigation tabs not working
Workaround - Remap the PhotoMode tab navigation keys in MCM and use FreeFlyCam's view scrolling feature.
Immersive equipment display
The default hotkey to access the IED is the backspace key, which will trigger the IED during text entry
Solution-remap the IED key to something else

Compatible
This module has not been tested on 21:9/16:10 screens, so the UI may look a little strange.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
