Overview
This mode allows you to press hotkeys and convert stamina and/or health into magic.
Fendrix energy drain effectively lets you sacrifice stamina and health for magic.
The default key that triggers this action is the right ALT key. (Can be used both inside and outside combat)
The default hotkeys and everything in <> below can be customized via the in-game MCM menu.
By default, energy converted per second = <30> (when you press the hotkey, your physical strength or health skills consume 30 points per second while the hotkey is pressed)
First, the system will drain the player's stamina.
<60%>The converted body is obtained as magic. (By default, this means you lose 30 stamina points per second and gain 18 mana points per second after pressing the hotkey)
If stamina is exhausted, the system will run out of life.
<40%> Converted health gained as Magicka. (By default this means you lose 30 health per second and gain 12 mana per second after pressing the hotkey)
If health is exhausted, the player dies.
You can release the hotkey at any time and this conversion process will end.
The system can be changed to only consume health or stamina using the MCM menu.
By default, the system consumes stamina first and then health until Magicka reaches maximum capacity, the player dies, or a hotkey is released.
This is a port of a mod I released for the original Skyrim in 2014. I thought releasing it on Skyrim SE might generate some interest.

User Reviews SKYRIM LE Version of this MOD
skipp19701: "Finally this is my mode. Now I can run longer distances and have the power of magic."
Arlecino: "This is amazing, it's perfect, it's much better than anything I could have hoped for, as it's compatible with everything, every spell. I don't know much about modding, but the idea is perfect, better than I asked for, thank you very much sir, will download and approve in a heartbeat. Thank you again, it's a perfect idea, as it won't hit Breaking the balance, it doesn't let you cast "bigger" spells in your stamina pool, it just gives you a realistic way to switch between stamina and mana, and you can use mana as a requirement to cast spells and mana for faster regeneration, I really hope this mod becomes more popular, what a great idea... I played it all day and I stand by what I said, it's a great mode (also just an endorsement, seriously guys?). It allows for a realistic early game as a mage for people who want to role play as a full mage instead of the usual spell sword , which allows fighting a dragon without having to use archery mods and carry a bow (for people who don't really want to play that way, but hey! They have too, because that's the only way to get that beast down as quickly as possible. It's not overpowering, and it doesn't break the immersion, It only allows for a full mage playstyle. Also, I just realized, this is also good for melee/archer characters, who generally invest more in stamina. It allows them to use some spells without having to invest heavily in magic. A great model, thank you Fendrix”
Wombra: "This mod is really useful, I always hated how I was forced to rely on potions to have a mage. The MCM menu is handy for balancing the mod"

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
