MODThis MOD requires SKSE64⚠
Currently, SKSE64 is in the Alpha stage of development and is therefore not recommended for practical use
its creator. I would not have released this until SKSE64 was in Beta or stable,
But with SkyUI's SSE alpha released, I think it's enough
People are already using it. Long and short of it: if it's this mod, SKSE64 or anything else
Failure to do so will wreak havoc on your save file, which is out of my control; it's your phone.
The permanent legendary bonus is a continuation of the Oldrim mod renamed by ASUnited.
After talking with ASUnited we decided it would be best to support my mod.
Therefore, I have converted it to SSE and will try to continue supporting and improving it for the foreseeable future.

Overview
The "Legendary" system in Skyrim defaults to a thin bandage on the horizontal soft cap wound in Oldrim in Oldrim. example...
A young novice magician starts with a few magic tricks (15) and eventually grows into a powerful bender who can confuse even the strongest opponents (90). Then one day she reaches the pinnacle of her training and becomes the paragon of her craft (100), only to discover that she is a truly legendary magician, meaning that tomorrow she will have a hard time calming the carrot with magic (15).
Sound familiar? Why would someone choose to have selective amnesia about their primary skill to no avail in order to prove how amazing they are? have no idea.
Permanent Legendary Bonuses are designed to solve this problem by permanently improving sacrificed skills, along with other bonuses and benefits.
Now, when our master magician decides to take her skills to the next level, she will receive a 10-point Illusion skill bonus. She will still start at 15 points, but this time she will gain an effective illusion level of 10 points (15/25). It's also fun to hit the max level again (100/110). Best of all, each Legend gains additional rewards despite honing the same skills. So she decided to try again (15/35) and try again to climb to the top (100/120). Each acquisition of a legendary skill provides increased benefits in terms of new starting points and remastering of the skill.
In addition to skill-based bonuses, there are also special bonuses that apply to skill archetypes that are sacrificed...
Combat (Archery, Blocking, Heavy Armor, One-Handed, Smithing, and Two-Handed) — 5 health and stamina points per legendary
Magic (Alteration, Enchantment, Destruction, Enchantment, Illusion, and Restoration)—10 magic per legend
Invisibility (Alchemy, Light Armor, Lockpicking, Pickpocket, Stealth, and Speech)—20 per legendary
Customization
Since the "Permanent Legend Bonus" uses SKSE64, and SkyUI has at least an SSE alpha version, I put together an MCM to simplify configuration. If you don't have access to the MCM for permanent legendary bonuses, you can edit the following global variables to help customize your legendary experience...
PLB_SkillBonus (default 10; added skills to gain legendary level)
PLB_CombatBonus (default 5; adds health and stamina to Combat archetype Legendary)
PLB_MagickaBonus (default 10; added to magicka on Magic prototype Legendary)
PLB_CarryBonus (default is 20; increase the carrying capacity of the Stealth prototype Legendary)
PLB_SkillCap (default is 100; this means your natural level is 100+; set to 0 to disable skill cap)
For example, if you wanted to never lose effective skill level, you could set the skill bonus to 85 so that every legend would look like this...
Open the console (`).
Set PLB_SkillBonus to 85
Reopen and close the skills menu to trigger the update.
Enjoy your (powerful and discouraging) changes!

Since Bethesda limits the formula effect of most (if not now) all skills to 100, in order to get the benefit of skill bonus levels above 100, you will need the Skyr …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
