About this mod Machine translation

Tweaking and rebalancing Skyrim's perks and abilities in a lightweight and highly compatible way.

This mod is designed to tweak and rebalance Skyrim's skills and perks within a vanilla-plus framework. This mod can be used as an all-in-one variant (Omnis) or in separate modules, each dealing with a different subset of skills (Blade for Combat skills, Staff for Magic skills, Cloak for Stealth skills).

One of the key things this mod attempts to change is getting to the bottom of a more engaging perk tree without completely changing the overall perk tree. This is accomplished in part by nerfing basic entry-level perks at the bottom of the tree, while improving deeper perk nodes.

Additionally, since this mod only edits perk records, mods that do not edit perk records should be compatible with this mod. These mods should also be compatible with perk mods that don't edit the same perks (e.g. Blade and Cloak should be compatible with Empowered Magic).

This mod requires the Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition patch.

The changes made by this mod are as follows:

Blade/Fighting:

*Heavy Armor:

**Tower of Power now also increases armor rating by 25% if wearing all heavy armor.

**Reflex increase increases the chance of activation to 15%.

  • Archery:

**Overdraft bonus is 15/30/45/60/75%.

** Power Shot now also increases bow damage by 50%.

  • One hand:

**Amsmann now increases one-handed attack speed by 4/8/12/16/20%.

*Handled:

** Daedric Smithing now requires Arcane Blacksmith instead of Ebony Smithing, and now requires 100 Smithing.

** Dragon Smithing now requires Glass Smithing or Ebony Smithing, which now requires 90 Smithing.

Staff/Magic:

*Dual cast cost reduced to 2.5 base spell.

*Double casting amount increased to 2.3 of the base spell.

*destroy:

**Novice Destruction increases the power of the Destruction spell by 1% per point of destruction.

**Destruction level modifier increased from 1.35 to 2.4, making damage level increase faster.

**If not wearing armor, second level increases base armor by 60 plus 1/level.

**If not wearing armor, the third level increases the base armor by 90 plus 1.5 per modified level.

  • Conjuration:

**Novice Summoning increases the summoning spell duration by 1% per summoning point.

*Enchanting:

**Enchanting has been changed to match other magic skills.

** The five levels of Enchanter are divided into novice/apprentice/expert/expert/master.

**Extra effects now have two levels. The first level requires 50 Enchanting and Adept Enchanter, and works like vanilla. The second level requires enchantment level 90 and allows a third effect.

** Soul Squeezer and Soul Siphon combined into one, called Soul Absorption. Added 30 enchantment requirement.

Cloak/Stealth:

*Light Armor:

** Agile Guard armor class bonus reduced from 20/40/60/80/100% to 15/30/45/60/75%. This is to help rebalance …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
