Her father, Eric, was a great warrior who was unfortunately caught up in the war between the Stormcloaks and the Empire. Her mother died in childbirth, so Penny was raised by her father, Eric. After Eric's death, she is forced to find work on the farm, but growing bored, she longs for some action and adventure, and she longs to find a husband and race her own family.
