About this mod Machine translation

Allows you to passively recharge enchantments (weapon charges) by carrying soul-filled gems.

describe

If you are carrying a soul-charged gem, the weapons in your inventory will recharge over time. The higher the level of the soul in the gem, the faster it recharges.

Choose the best soul gem in your inventory.

The quality of the soul in the gem is irrelevant to the soul gem itself (for example, a small soul in a grand soul gem is bad).

Charging speed is very slow. The default values are:

Petty - 20% weapon recharge for in-game recharges every 24 hours

Small-30%

Normal-50%

Higher - 100%

Grand -150%

Trying to charge multiple weapons at the same time will slow down the charging speed. For example, if you have 3 weapons that need charging, it will charge each weapon at 1/3 the rate.

This depends on the game's "timescale" setting, as it requires 24 hours of gameplay.

If you wait or sleep, the weapon will continue to charge.

The rungs also charge.

The "recharge" of the weapon does not matter, it will be recharged as a percentage. This means that a poorly enchanted low-quality iron dagger will take the same amount of time to charge as a well-enchanted ebony mace.

You can configure most things using configuration files.

Requires .NET Scripting Framework

Installing

Make sure the upper frame is installed correctly.

Install this mod using the Mod Manager or manually. The DLL files in this mod should be located here:

It should be safe to install or uninstall during play as this mod does not touch save games in any way.

Uninstall

Use your Mod Manager to uninstall or delete the DLL file from the above path.

configuration

The configuration file is located in /Data/NetScriptFramework/Plugins/WeaponCharge.config.txt and you can change the following options:

PettyChargePercentPerDay - If the best soul in your inventory is Petty, how much % of weapons are fully charged every 24 hours in the game.

Small/Normal/Large/Grand - Same as above, but for other classes of souls.

MultipleWeaponsChargeSlower - Set to false if you want all weapons to always have their full charge instead of being split between them.

SoulGemStacking - Instead of selecting the best soul gem, all soul gems will be stacked in your inventory. Having to carry the Soul Stone is cheating and annoying. Enable if needed.

OnlyRechargeEquippedWeapons - This is helpful if you pick up loot and don't want random junk in your inventory to take away from the recharge speed of your equipped weapon. Disabled by default.

RechargeIntervalGameHours - How often to attempt recharge during game hours. This does not change the charging speed throughout the day, it only controls how often the mod runs its calculations. There's no real need to edit it, unless you find that the mod doesn't update recharges quickly or smoothly enough, then you can reduce it.

Description

If you are carrying a filled soul gem the weapons in your inventory will regenerate their charge over time. The better the soul level in the gem the faster it recharges.

The best soul gem in your inventory is chosen.

The quality of the soul in the gem matters not the soul gem itself (e.g. petty soul in grand soul gem is bad).

It charges quite slowly. The default values are:

Petty - 20% of weapon charge per 24h in-game time recharged

Lesser - 30%

Common - 50%

Greater - 100%

Grand - 150%

Trying to recharge multiple weapons at the same time will lower the rate at which you recharge. For example if you have 3 weapons requiring recharging it will charge each weapon at 1/3 of the speed.

This depends on the "timescale" setting of the game, as it counts 24 hours of in-game time.

If you wait or sleep the weapons keep charging.

Staves are recharged as well.

The "amount" of charge on a weapon does not matter, it will recharge by per cent. That means low quality Iron Dagger with a bad enchantment will take same amount of time to recharge as Ebony Mace wi …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
