About this mod Machine translation

Pack a mule! Hear my voice and come out. I call upon you in time of need. Translation: Teleport lost followers to your location.

Notice:

This mod has nothing to do with the other two mods called Get Over Here. It is not a port or modification. I didn't know about them until they told me the mod name had been taken. So I added 'SSE' at the end. Not the best solution, but it works.

introduce:

I made this little mod because I was tired of my followers not keeping up or getting completely lost sometimes. Most minion overhauls have some sort of option to teleport the minion to your location, especially at the start of combat, but since I'm not using any saves right now, I have to do something a little too hyped about them. Additionally, this mod will also come in handy if your doorways and narrow passages are blocked.

This is a very basic pattern that only does one thing and one thing. If you are using any follower overhaul mod, you don't need to bother with this. But if you're not, and you have follower lag, then this represents a simple workaround. So far I've tested this mod with the goggles in Lydia, Jenassa, and The Retching Netch, and they all can teleport to the player's location. Even with Hoth, I don't know of other custom fans.

describe:

This mod is basically two books, a spell and a power book that teach you teleportation spells and powers respectively. Both do the same thing, but I prefer using power since it doesn't require switching between spells and my greatsword while I'm busy trying to decapitate some nasty tool. Additionally, no unnecessary visual or sound effects are added, as all you're doing is keeping your followers close, rather than summoning a Dremora Lord from Oblivion.

Install:

Mod Manager - Double click and install.

Manually (but why?) - Extract the mod and put it into the data folder.

Procurement method:

The legal way - on top of the crate behind the Whiterun defender in the third image. Green, glowing objects.

Console - Open the console, type 'help spell' or 'help power', find the ID for Get Over Here Spell or Get Over Here Power, then type 'player.addspell id'. Alternatively, find the IDs of the books, add them using 'player.additem id' and read them.

AddItemMenu - Use the power of AIM, open GetOverHere.esp, add a book and continue reading.

footnote:

There are similar mods for Classic Skyrim but I couldn't find any SE (maybe I didn't search well enough) so I made this one from scratch. If you like this mod, please give it a thumbs up. If not, then move on. joke. Thank you for your anticipation. Until next time.

NOTE:

This mod isn't related to the other two mods named Get Over Here. It isn't a port or modification of either. I wasn't even aware of them until informed me that the mod name was already taken. So I just added 'SSE' at the end. Not the greatest solution but it works.

Most follower overhaul mods have some kind of option to teleport followers to your location especially when a fight starts but since I am not using any on my current save, I had to do something about their lollygagging. Plus, this mod also comes in handy if, or rather when your doorways and narrow passages are being blocked.

This is a very rudimentary mod that does one thing and one thing only. If you're using any follower overhaul mod, no need to bother with this. But if you aren't and you have follower lag, then this represents a simple workaround. So far I've tested the mod with Lydia, Jenassa and the goggled dude in The Retching Netch, and they all teleport just fine to the player's location. Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
