Everglaid's original vanilla motion base animation replacer
I've always stuck with the vanilla movement, even though there are so many options. I just love the look of it.
After making some running/walking animations for another project (hehe), I noticed some little things in vanilla that I couldn't see.
This mod edits the original running and walking animations, fixing broken loops, jittery limbs, "click" actions, and more.
It also received some stylization, smoothing out arcs and changing poses. The animation looks more casual. There is a slight bounce to the run.
Covers all 8 directions, walking, running, sprinting, men and women.
Install:
Please use the Mod Manager.
Safely uninstall mid-game.
Require:
none.
Recommended modules:
True Orienteering - 360° movement and programmed tilt
SmoothCam - Prevent any camera position/fov capture
compatibility:
This is just an animation replacement like other mods.
Feel free to use this as a "base" mod and have other animation sets overlay it as you see fit.
Many animation sets don't cover these 6 back animations. (Do anything?)

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
