About this mod Machine translation

The popular mod on GEMS, now available in Skyrim Special Edition!

It's a simple mode that allows you to "order" items from vendors instead of waiting for merchant inventory to respawn, skipping around Skyrim to catch up on each store, or just plain cheating. When you select your item and quantity, you pay a small, configurable fee, and then, after a configurable inventory time, the supplier will place your order in stock, ready for purchase. Alternatively (as of v1.2) you can choose to have your items delivered via courier. You still have to wait for stocking time, but the courier will find you and deliver instead of coming back to pick your items. Make sure you can take it with you!

Currently, you can purchase all vanilla ingots and all base armor from the blacksmith, as well as all rare ingredients from the alchemist. More supplier types and items will be added, but I need to know what people want. Leave a comment and let me know what you'd like to order!

Order My Items is useful for almost every player. How was it when you were building a house in Hearthfires? You need a pile of iron to lay the foundation? Or how to order a set of Daedric armor for your favorite minion? Need dozens of Nirnroot as a lazy alchemist? Order now! No matter what you use, ordering my stuff can help!

Order My Items is configurable through SkyUI's MCM system and allows you to change the cost of ordering items. By default, this value is set to 15% - so if you order an item worth 100 gold coins, your fee will be 15 gold coins. If you're high level with a lot of cash, you might want to set the fees high so you actually have something to spend your money on, but if you're more into role playing, the defaults work well. Or maybe you don't need to charge at all. Not a problem!

Additionally, you can set inventory times. This is the time it takes for a merchant to prepare a purchase order. By default, this time is set to 2 hours (game time), but you can postpone it to up to 7 days if you wish. You will be notified when an item becomes available, or when your item is available to the courier via a notification in the upper left corner or a pop-up message box. Or, turn off notifications entirely and go hardcore!

Require:

SKSE64 2.0.4 (or higher).

Special version of SkyUI for the Mod configuration menu, currently using SKSE64 2.0.4.

Incompatibility issues:

None that I know of.

Install:

Use your mod management tool of choice, or copy the files contained in the archive to the */Data folder and activate them using the launcher. It's a good idea to put Order My Items lowest in our loading order. If you don't get the new dialog options when you first install Order My Items, save and reload. Then they should be available.

renew:

Overwrite the old file with the new one (preferably using NMM) and enjoy!

If you have issues updating, use the "Restart" option in MCM and your issue should be resolved.

uninstall:

Safely stop the mod using MCM, then uninstall via NMM, or delete the files in the data folder.

All credits go to alexbulluk for developing this mod, and the Silverlock team for developing and subsequently releasing SKSE64. This mod would certainly not be possible without any of them. Be sure to visit the original mod page here, leave your love and recognition for his work, and find the Oldrim version. Thanks!

Footnote: This mod was originally contributed to Oldrim by alexbulluk who, after talking about his plans, graciously allowed me to upload a working version of the mod that he had "ported" and made sure to fully use the current alpha build of SKSE64. Nothing in this mod is my own work as the uploader.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
