About this mod Machine translation

This will replace the "Start menu selection background" and optional versions with a golden rotating Skyrim badge.

I made this mod because I wanted my Skyrim Special Edition to be more distinctive than my Legendary Edition. It looks pretty good to me now so I can share my version with the SE community.

Check out the video for instructions.

This mod uses my own game screenshots as background and

Brumbek's main menu rotates the Skyrim badge.

I planned to OSMR work with Brumbek's rotating badge in front of the background rather than just a black screen to add more of a 3D look to him.

However, this mod is not required as OSMR is standalone.

Install

------------

This is just a replacer and doesn't use scripts or plugins, so it can be installed - and uninstalled - at any time.

Download and use the mod manager of your choice, or extract directly to your DATA folder.

I also used the mod to remove Creation Club content from the start menu. (optional)

If you want that, then first install 'Classic Start Menu - No Creation Club - No Mods Menu' (mod #13415) and then install OSMR.

The order of installation is important here.

License and Credit

-----------------------

I share this with the Skyrim community. May not be used for financial gain.

As it involves the work of other modders, it is intended for your personal use only.

Thanks to Bethesda for this Invasion of Life game, and to the community for completing Invasion. Couldn't do it without you!

Special thanks to Brumbek for allowing the use of his excellent work.

By the way, you should also consider Brumbek's SMIM (Static Mesh Improvement Mod). This is a necessity.

————————————————————————————————————————————————

I made this mod because I wanted my Skyrim Special Edition to be something a bit more 'Special' than my Legendary Edition. To me, it now looks OK, so I can share my version with the SE community.

Look at the Video to get an indication.

This mod uses a screenshot from my own game as background and the

Main Menu Spinning Skyrim Emblem by Brumbek.

I planned OSMR to work with Brumbek's spinning emblem in front of a background, instead of just a black screen, to add to his vision of a bit more 3D.

However, that mod is not a requirement, because the OSMR is standalone.

INSTALLATION

------------

This is just a replacer, uses no scripts or plugins, so OK to install-uninstall anytime.

Download and use the mod manager of your choice, or unpack directly to your DATA folder.

I also use the mod to remove the Creation Club content from the start menu. (optional)

If you want that, then install first 'Classic Start Menu - No Creation Club - No Mods Menu' (mod #13415), then OSMR.

PERMISSIONS and CREDITS

I share this with the Skyrim community. Not to be used for financial gain, whatsoever.

Because other mod authors' work is involved, it is for your personal use only.

Thanks to Bethesda for this life-invading game, and & community for completing the invasion. Couldn't have done it without you!

Special thanks to Brumbek for allowing the use of his excellent work.

By the way, you should also consider Brumbek's SMIM (Static Mesh Improvement Mod). It is a neccesity.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
