Open inventory SSE

A very simple mod to open the inventory of any NPC in Skyrim. There is also a spell that automatically loots all items from NPCs without opening the inventory, portable storage space, and the ability to increase carry weight by around 50,000. Many potential applications and uses!

This mod is a very simple spell that will open the inventory of any targeted NPC. Another version was originally designed as part of an upcoming mod, but I found this feature very interesting and useful, so I made this standalone version. There's also a spell that automatically loots everything from NPCs without opening their inventory, including their clothes. If you use auto-loot while sneaking, it will automatically loot items from your secret stash. Your secret storage is accessible whenever and wherever you want and can be used to store anything you want. Also included is the ability to carry weight, giving your character a carry capacity of approximately 50,000.

When the mod starts, all spells will be automatically added to the player. All spells can be purchased at Riverwood Trader. To use a spell, just target any NPC and cast the spell. Simple.

Check NPC's inventory

A secret stash to stock up on all your stuff

Take any NPC's equipment

Using unresponsive NPCs to trade/remove items from

Check your mods

"Steal" from a distance

Giving enemies weapons changes the way they fight.

Robbing a blind NPC without requiring pickpocketing or risking brings a bounty and items are not classified as stolen and can therefore be sold to any merchant.

Improve magic skills. Why not?

Steal items from your enemies so they can only defeat you with their fists.

Steal keys and stalk NPCs hoping you'll lock them in your own house.

Become an anti-hunting activist and steal weapons from every hunter in Skyrim

Remove thalmor

Disarm Tempest and better arm the Imperial forces.

Make Sheogorath proud

Forcing citizens of Skyrim to become Nullists.

Not only can you save NPC lives, but you can also obtain worldly possessions and keys.

Be imaginative. It's fun and if you take it to heart, there are a lot of possibilities. This mod is 100% made for fun, maybe role playing as a mischievous mage.

Important notes

As of v1.3, there is also a second open inventory spell. "Open Inventory - Equipment" should only be used for NPCs you intend to take. In all other cases, the original spell is used. Most of the time this spell will work perfectly on any NPC, allowing you to steal everything. It also randomly generates a new outfit.

Here are any issues you may encounter when using this new spell and what you can try:

• The character becomes naked and/or the inventory is empty when it shouldn't be.

Fix: Give NPCs an equippable weapon or armor. For example: dagger, helmet.

• Cannot take anything from inventory

Fix: Exit menu and use original opened inventory spell. If you don't normally have access to these items, try trading weapons.

With rights comes great responsibility. I cannot be held responsible if this mod is abused in any way and messes up quests/NPCs or items get lost. As a general rule: Do not remove items from NPCs who are part of a quest or give your precious items to strangers. Have some common sense when using mods and have fun.
