Do not extract the contents of a BSA file into your Data folder as a loose file, or have your Mod Manager perform an equivalent function on the file's contents. Doing so will cause things to load in the wrong order and break the game. Skyrim is designed to load BSA together with its ESM/ESP files. Circumventing this will cause some issues and I will not provide support. If you insist on not following this advice, no support will be provided for the resulting problems.
Install-Wrye Bash BAIN
Place the archive into the Skyrim Special Edition Mods\Bash Installers folder and install as usual.
Make sure the mod is activated in the Wrye Bash mods tab.
Installation - Mod Manager/Vortex
Use the "Download with Manager" button on the Skyrim Special Edition page. The installer should take care of it from there.
Then just make sure NMM has the mod activated.
Installation instructions
Drag and drop the LOTD5+OCS Patch.esp file into your Data folder.
Activate the module using the management tool appropriate for you.
Uninstall
Due to the nature of Skyrim mods, especially those that add scripts, it is highly recommended that you try to uninstall the mod from the active game. Any mod other than a pure mesh or texture replacement may leave permanent changes that you may not want. This is not something modifiers can correct. This is the way Bethesda designs its games. There is no support for anyone who uninstalls this mod from the active game and continues saving.
Removing the mod: Remove the LOTD5+OCS Patch.esp file from the Data folder. Then reload the game as usual.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
