About this mod Machine translation

Converted ESM files for Omegared's Oldrim Skyrim mod.

This is just an SSE compatible .esm file that allows you to fit Omegared99's armor into Skyrim Special Edition. You need his original mod to work.

Requires Omegared99 Armor compilation and (possibly) SSE NIF optimizer.

To install, first download Omegared's mod, then delete his .esm files, leaving only the "Textures" and "Mesh" folders. You could choose to try his .esp module, which *seems* to work in SE.

Next, copy my files to your installation location (either in the data folder or in a new archive packed next to the textures and meshes folder).

Then run SSE NIF Optimizer on the /mesh folder to clear its .nif files.

You should be ready... Anyway this worked for me.

A note about permissions: Since no one will be able to contact Omegared99, a full port is not possible as it breaks the rules. This method is (I think) still legal (as far as I know) since I'm not actually using or converting his project... you still need to download the original author's work to use it. (If you're a mod and think otherwise, well... it's easy for me to laugh out loud).

Note that the level list module appears to be working but has not been fully tested. (I just spawned a bunch of bandits via the console and they seemed to use some armor...but I'm not sure if they were from Omegared or Armonizer LLs.)

This is just an SSE compatible.esm file which will allow you to load Omegared99's armors into Skyrim Special Edition.  You need his original mod for this to work.

Requires Omegared99 Armor Compilation and (probably) SSE NIF Optimizer.

To install, download Omegared's mod first, then delete his.esm file, leaving only the "textures" and "meshes" folder.  You can optionally try to use his.esp modules, which *seem* to be working in SE.

Next, copy my file to your install location (either in your data folder or packed in a new archive beside texture and mesh folders).

Then run SSE NIF Optimizer on the /mesh folder to clean its.nif files.

You should be ready to go... this worked for me anyways.

Note on permissions:  Since nobody has been able to contact Omegared99, a full port is impossible as it is against rules.  This method (I think) is still legal (as far as I know) since I'm not actually using or transforming his items... You still need to download the original author's work in order to use it.  (If you're a mod and have other ideas, well.... go easy on me lol).

Note that the leveled list modules seem to be working, but have not been thoroughly tested.   (I just spawned a bunch of bandits through console and they appeared to be using a few armors... but I'm not sure if they were from Omegared or Armonizer LLs.)

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
