About this mod Machine translation

This is a minor bugfix for Zim's Immersive Artifacts that allows Oghma Infinium's "Dragon Knowledge (Modification)" configuration feature to function properly.

Among the artifacts overhauled by Zim's Immersive Artifacts is the Oghma Infinium. It adds a new power called "Dragon Knowledge" that allows players to redeem dragon souls for extra points, as well as a configuration ability available inside Outpost of Septimus Signus that lets you configure the number of dragon souls per point cost. Sounds neat, right?

Unfortunately, the original script had an incorrect variable causing the configure capability to not actually do anything. Therefore, no matter how you set it up, the power of "Dragon Knowledge" only costs one Dragon Soul per point spent. This minor bugfix remediates the issue and restores the intended functionality of the configuration feature, allowing you to set any Dragon Soul cost you want.

I'll probably delete this page once the original author of ZIA fixes the bug themselves, but I thought others might find this useful in the meantime, since ZIA hasn't been updated since last September.

Of course, this requires the original Zim's Immersive Artifacts mod. This is just a bug fix for the mod and won't do anything on its own.

Among the artifacts that Zim's Immersive Artifacts overhauls is the Oghma Infinium. It adds a new power called "Dragon Knowledge" that allows the player to redeem dragon souls for a perk point, as well as a configuration power available while inside Septimus Signus' outpost that lets you configure how many dragon souls each perk point costs. Sounds neat, right?

Unfortunately, the original script had a single incorrect variable that caused the configuration power to not actually do anything. As a result, the "Dragon Knowledge" power only consumes one dragon soul per perk point without this fix, regardless of what you set it to. This tiny bug fix remedies that issue, and restores the intended functionality of the configuration power, allowing you to set whatever dragon soul cost you desire.

I will probably delete this page whenever the original author of ZIA fixes the bug himself, but I thought others might find this useful in the meantime since ZIA hasn't been updated since September of last year.

Naturally, this requires the original Zim's Immersive Artifacts mod. This is just a bug fix for that mod, and will do nothing on its own.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
