About this mod Machine translation
Let's buy something from the shelf.
This feature is copied from my other mod Skoomatologist.
Off The Shelf (OTS) is more of a resource than a mod. Add a short script that can be attached to an item in your store so you can buy it directly from the shelf. The demo ESP attaches a Skooma bottle and a diamond to the counter at Belathors General Goods in Whiterun so you can see how it works.
Consider the price reductions for potions, magic, blessings, etc.
Accurate, 1 margin error*
Items for sale will be marked as replaced instead of stolen*
Confirmation message with calculated price
Gold moves from player to vendor
Item Rebirth*
Use fBarterMin/Max so it should work with Eco mode
*See questions
(Optional) If you do not want OTS as the main device, create a message in your mod using the following information. (or copy from OTS as a new record into the mod in SSEEdit)
ID:otsConfirmBuy
Message text: Buy %.0f Septim?
Menu button: 0 = no, 1 = yes
Check the "Message Box" checkbox
How to use:
Attach the skmBuyOffShelf script to the project
Autofill properties, make sure you have Off The Shelf as the owner or create message.
(Optional) Link the item to MerchantChest which will provide gold to the vendor instead of just removing it from the player
(Optional) If you want to respawn the project, check the Respawn checkbox
question:
Not considering Allure perk yet
Sometimes when you return to a shop where items have respawned, you won't be able to activate them. Exiting and entering the store fixes this issue.
If you're a friend of a merchant, the cheap items you can take may confuse you because items for sale are marked Take. I'm trying to find a better solution
Mods that modify Haggling privileges may not be used

Menu Buttons: 0 = No, 1 = Yes
Tick the "Message Box" checkbox

Issues:
Doesn't take into account the Allure perk yet

Cheaper items you can take if you're friends with the merchant can get confusing since for sale items are marked Take. I'm trying to find a better workaround
Probably wont work with mods that modify the Haggling perks
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
