what is it?
This mod consists of two parts.
Part 1: BASE mod
This is a simple ESP that adds a new NPC merchant to the game in Ivarstead (Vilemyr Inn). Currently, he is selling nothing.
Part 2: Script
The second part of this mod is a small script that runs in SSE Edit.
This script allows you to choose from loaded mods, then scans these mods for WEAP or ARMO records (weapons and armor) and adds them to the merchant's inventory chest so that you can buy them from him at a fixed price.
To be clear, this script runs outside of the game during installation, there is no Papyrus script running inside the game, so there are no noticeable performance degradation or stability issues with this mod.
Before I say anything else, I have to say a huge thank you to MatorTheEternal.
Not only is he responsible for the extremely useful MXPF framework that this mod uses (and requires).
But he also put up with my constant stupid questions and helped me generously.
As much as I'd love to contribute to this mod, it wouldn't exist without him, the idea for the mod is mine, but
The coding of the script is mostly his code with some tweaks from me.

Thanks to NOZI for the installation video.
This video is for the Fallout 4 version, but the steps are the same.
How to install?
Step 1: Necessary files.
There are a few things you need to do to make this mod work, and that's because it utilizes some of the pre-made scripting capabilities within Skyrim LE's MatorTheEternal's MXPF framework. The script is run within SSE Edit, so you will need that as well.
None of these are installed into your game, they are just external utilities.
So, start downloading and installing the following:
edit
To install SSEEdit, simply download the file and extract it to a folder of your choice.
MXPF xEdit framework
(This is for Skyrim LE, but the functionality I use works fine)
To install the MXPF framework, you need to download the file from and extract the contents to the location where SSEEdit is installed.
Odds&Ends_BASE (from File tab)
Odds&Ends_BASE file is a simple ESP plugin. It can be installed as any other mod and activated using the mod manager of your choice, or it can be manually downloaded and extracted into the Skyrim data folder. Now, make sure Odds&Ends_BASE is at the bottom of the load order.
Make sure it is activated.
When you run the script in step 2, a new plugin will be created and added after this plugin, this is normal behavior.
Odds & Ends_Script (from File tab)
This needs to be manually downloaded and extracted to the same location as SSEEdit.
Step 2: Run the script.
At this stage you should have installed all the required components and tools, as well as weapon and armor modifications. (You can add it later though)
Therefore, load SSEEdit.
By default, all currently activated plugins should already be selected in the window, just click OK.
Once the program has finished loading, you will see a small section of all plugins in the left pane.
Right-click on any of them and select "Apply Script".
In the pop-up box, click the down arrow and find the "Odds & EndsScript" you installed earlier.
Do not modify the script unless you know what you are doing.
Just click OK.
If this is the first time running the script, you will select YES (generate new patch).
If you have already run the script and just modified it, select No (modify patch).
You will then be given the option to choose which mods to include.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
