Oculus Touch

This is a key remapping of the Oculus Touch controllers in Skyrim VR that gives you access to 8 commonly used built-in hotkeys for Skyrim.

This mod is just a configuration text file, no scripts or esp files. It uses a hotkey code that already exists in the game engine, but Bethesda didn't include it due to the missing button (I guess).

Button assignments are designed for quick and comfortable access to combat functions. I tried to minimize the use of the less comfortable stick clicking, but to make room for the combat hotkeys, I had to put the menu there. The keys have also been reassigned to be more familiar to those using controllers for other VR games or games. Just like using the Grab button to grab and inspect items, use A and B to go forward and back in the menu, and use the left and right triggers to switch tabs.

Warning: Built-in hotkeys are not officially supported in Skyrim VR. I can personally attest from thousands of uses that they work flawlessly with shouts and powers as well as consuming potions and food. However, using them to equip items in your hand will accidentally hit the table.

The solution to this problem is to combine this mod with Therio's Spell and Roar hotkeys, which use potions as a way to equip items in your hand. But it's not foolproof, and if you spam, you can cause the game to freeze for half a minute or so. But at least it doesn't crash and as long as you don't spam it, it doesn't freeze either. In other words, it's just as stable (if not more stable) than other hotkey mods and doesn't require SKSE.

However, using them to equip items in your hands WILL OCCASIONALLY CRASH TO DESKTOP.

A work-around for the problem is to combine this mod with Serio's Spells and Shouts Hotkeys which uses potions as a way to equip things in your hands. It's not foolproof though, if you spam these potions you can cause a game freeze that lasts about half a minute. But at least it doesnt crash and as long as you don't spam it, it won't freeze either. In other words, it's about as stable as the other hotkey mods out there (if not more stable) and does not require SKSE.
