Details and intent
This is a resource my wife and I created for ourselves that we thought we could share with the internet. Hope this helps.
Oldrim and SSE have a really great modding tool called the NPC Visual Transfer Tool that can be used to copy the front of NPC #1 and place it on NPC #2. It has a bit of a learning curve, so be sure to read the instructions and articles carefully to understand how to use it.
Over the past few months, my wife and I have gone through most of SSE's follower mods and created a database of faces (Followers and NPC Retextures) to simplify the search for "the perfect face for this NPC". We organized it into Google Sheets and can press
- gender
-Race
- hair color
- eye color
-and whether they are vampires
(We've also provided the mod title and link to the mod page to speed up the process.)
(If you don't know how to sort a spreadsheet: right click on the column header "Sort Sheets A->Z")
Now, if you've never used NPCVTT (as I call it a tool), you need to know that it doesn't work with mods that use .bsa files. So before downloading any of these modules for use with NPCVTT, please preview the file contents and make sure there are no .bsa files. If so, move on and find another one. The list my wife and I created has not yet filtered the .bsa file, so you'll have to do this yourself. However, if you see a mod with a checkbox checked in the list, that means we've tested it and can confirm that it works for us.
The purpose of this resource is that you download it into your own Google Sheets (or Excel) and then reduce it to your liking, but of course you can always bookmark the link and revisit it when you need to. I will continue to update this list as new mods are released, so this is not the final product.

Always backup the NPC_Data and NPCVTT mod files before putting new faces into the NPCVTT mod.
Disclaimer
The NPC Visual Transfer tool has nothing to do with me. If you use their tools, be sure to acknowledge it and leave some love.
None of the mods linked in the database belong to me. Please show some love to the modders of the faces you use.
Multiple follower mods linked in the database are definitely NSFW. Little one, you have been warned.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
