About this mod Machine translation

Add a set of light/heavy armor or cloth clothing.

Add a lightness and heaviness. Or clothing set, there are 4 possible helmet options in two colors. Vanilla textures are used where applicable, but some vanilla textures are forced for the arms/legs due to conflicts described in the required files section.

armor

light armor

The "Northern Mage" uses a brown yarn texture and has the same crafting requirements as the proportional armor's stats. Two helmet options, either hood only or hood with open Draugr helmet.

heavy armor

The "Northern Battle Amulet" uses the Ulfric texture and has the stats of Norse Carved Armor, with the same crafting requirements. Four helmet options. Ged, hood with open Draugr rudder, hood with closed Draugr rudder, closed Draugr rudder. The enclosed servo without the hood looks just like a regular Draugr servo, just with added bits in the image.

clothing. "Northern Mages" represents Brown, and "Northern Fields" represents Alfric style. Just use the hood as a headgear.

There is no weight slider as 3DSmax is a pain and deleting points when exporting I tell it not to do that.

Northern mage's armor/robes. Heavy point fur with some steel for added protection. It doesn't stand out, especially as mage gear, helping avoid conflicts with the 4th generation Nords who are magic skeptics. The actual robes used were more associated with the nobility of the sky than with leaping wizards during the winter months.

Target

An attempt to make battle mage gear without using the robes associated with regular mages. This was a challenge because it looked like something a warrior would use. Without the hood, it doesn't look like a Mage Gear.

deformation

-The robe still has the leather/steel look when using the costume version. My retelling skills are underwhelming, especially when I only use Paint.net.

The makeover of the hood was done by editing the UV map, pointing to the fur, without too many texturing tricks. It makes it blend together no matter what texture you use. The mouth cover on the closed rudder is directed towards the UV map of the ebony mailbox.

tailoring

-There are some clips in the screenshots, but they don't look that bad in game.

Required funds. In the vanilla game, women's robes have no texture. One of the modules had requirements that I couldn't understand, so I just told the mesh to use the country clothing textures without putting them in this module. The problem is, country makes the brown men's gloves a dull metallic color, and none of the women's boots are super cool. The mesh is connected to the vanilla texture included in this pattern, the only color being the women's boots.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
