This mod is not mine. It is mainly based on foxlight713's work and ported to Skyrim Special Edition. I made some adaptations.

This mod adds running versions of Nordic weapons. The visual difference compared to regular Nordic weapons is the addition of glow patterns to the new weapons. New textures added with dragon runes:

The added dragon runes are just a visual improvement and have no other meaning.

The mesh was optimized using Nif-Optimizer. I'm trying to upscale an original texture from 1K to 2K via GIMP 2. The results are hard to see. So the major version is still 1K. If needed, try the new 2K version. I'm willing to come up with better suggestions.

Additionally, I made some improvements to the weapons' stats. Rune Noordic weapons have the following improvements compared to common Norse weapons:

Damage + 2

Critical damage +2

Weight-1

Value +50

These weapons are independent. This means that no other items will be overwritten.

Weapons can be crafted, refined and enchanted. To craft, you need the blacksmith's advanced armor.

How to install?

Use Mod Organizer (recommended) or Mod Manager. If using manual installation, unzip the 7-zip file in the Skyrim data directory.

Q: Is the mod compatible with...?

A: Mods only add new items. Skyrim's original assets are unaffected. This mod should be compatible with everything.

Q: Does this mod use scripts?

Answer: No.

Q: Can I easily merge this mod with others?

Answer: Yes.

Q: Why do you want to improve weapon stats?

Answer: Why not? I mean they've run away. magic. unique.

Question: Can XB1 mods be ported?

Answer: No.

A: I don't use XB1.

Answer: No.

A: I only use loose files for all my mods. If you want the bsa file you have to do it yourself.
